Unfortunately, someone hung themselves off the bridge. We passed by just as he was discovered and the person who found him asked us to call 911. After the police arrived, we left. I’m very sorry that life was so difficult that this man felt this was his only option. I pray he found peace.

My Dad who played football for LSU from 1947-1950. He passed away a year ago on Oct. 30th and his funeral was the Thursday before the Alabama game last year. I always knew that my Dad and my Uncle (who also played football for LSU in the 1940's) were up in heaven teaching God the "Hot Boudin" cheer and they helped win that game last year. I'm hoping they can work their magic again this year!
