Who are these old people you are referencing?
I am not old, I am just smarter than you.

What is really scary and instructive here is that there are Americans who think they are beating ISIS with hash tags. Holy crap. There is no hope.

They vote for Obama twice, get horrified when terrorism increases, then fight it with Internet jingoisms. Amazing...

Dude, ISIS is affected by one thing. Violence. You have to kill them - not just talk bad about them in 140 characters or less.

TigerTalker16 wins this thread. lol
Good luck to the FormerFightingPinkels with their coaching search. They are losing a good one.

On a serious note, I think the media backlash against LSU has more to do with Les the person than Les the coach. He is s a good dude. No one likes to see a nice guy get canned.
He is also a pretty good coach. Maybe LSU will get someone better, maybe they won't, but they are running off a guy that clearly made them a better program.

I literally have the post count you see since 2007. Hard to believe or not.
Not a huge interest in posting on an LSU message board (until they made it interesting with this Les drama).

You are exactly the Twitter warrior I was talking about. Haha!

You seriously think that ISIS is limited by your hashtags? lol

I usually lurk, but I have been here a loooong time.
Not an alt. Check the logs. Check my ip. Whatever...
Sorry to burst your little bubble.

Yeah. Actually it is funny.

The attacks are not funny, but the self-absorbed, sanctimonious hashtag warriors are always funny.

LelandSU,
Glad to see a sense of humor is alive and well in Cajun land.
Coaching drama sucks. Good luck with it.

AU86 is clearly racist against corn dogs. Shame on you, sir.

Need some kind words from Gary Pinkel right now.

If we could get the Missouri fan base involved, Les would keep his job, and get a raise.

Stay classy, Kentucky

LINK
I don't post here much, but I read a fair amount.

It is the militant Kenutcky chick. What is her name? BlueBellBird, BlueBirdBelle, BellBlueBird?
I don't remember, but you know who I am talking about.

They just have some fans like that. Damn. Shut the hell up. Now they have to. Thank God they lost.

Agree. They were not challenged enough. In the end though, it was humorous to watch. Especially the post game.

Kentucky BB is falling apart

They are on a one game losing streak.
Hats off to Richardson. Heck of a ball player.

That is the most likely scenario.

most overrated basketball coach in America?
Pearl is a very good coach.I'd take him in a heart beat

Why? Anderson is rebuilding at a reasonable rate. Pearl rebuilds quickly, but leaves a devastating wake when he moves on.
Not sure why anyone would want any part of that.
We had that experience with Petrino. Don't want to do that again.
I am partial to Portis, but I wouldn't argue if Moody was the SEC player of the year.

Very possibly. They are a beast. They deserve all the respect in the world until someone manages to beat them.

Even so, I look forward to it. I think the Hogs will play above their potential, and it will be a good game.

Contrary to whatever belief you may hold, me (or any other fan) looking forward has exactly zero bearing on a team's performance.

Mike will have them ready for a home game against A&M. He isn't looking forward. He doesn't have that luxury. I do.

KY - AR

Looking forward to this game.
The likely outcome is a Kentucky win, but the Hogs have had good luck with Big Blue recently. Who knows...

The Hogs are much improved (even in an improved SEC). They seem to have some confidence on the road which has been lacking for many many years.
It is finally sort of fun to be a Razorback basketball fan again.

Congrats to the Cats for a record breaking season, and we look forward to the chance to break the streak. :)

Wonder what Lou Holtz would say about all of this. Yeah he works for ESPN too

Yeah, he will probably rip on Petrino too.
No matter that 30 years ago he quit the 3-10 Jets with three games left in the season to become the Hogs head coach.
LOL!

No, it is by far the greatest cheer in all of sports!

Woo Pig Sooie!!!!!

"Almost" doesn't matter does it, Michigan Man?
I love to rip on conference foes, but here is the deal: You haven't seen anything like a healthy LSU in the Big Ten. It doesn't exist. Go rewind your Tivo and watch them rip Va Tech at the beginning of the year. You may have to watch it in slow mo to keep up since you are used to Big Ten football.
Whenever you feel like you are ready to watch it in real time, go watch the Appy State game and think again.
I would much rather see my Hogs in the BCS, but since that isn't going to happen I will enjoy watching a twice beaten LSU humiliate OSU in New Orleans.
So I guess that means that you would rather have Petrino than Miles?

Miles = "undefeated in regulation"

LOL!!!!!!!

re: This is the trend. Gotta love the SEC

Posted by cbone01 on 12/12/07 at 12:18 am to
BTW, that is .69 for Miles and .82 for Petrino.

re: This is the trend. Gotta love the SEC

No...

Miles = 61-27
Petrino = 41-9

College record vs college record.
