Hunting Venice and staying clean
Posted by Turkaturkaturk on 2/3/26 at 9:18 am
I've been hunting downriver the last couple of years. Is it just impossible to not end up with everything covered in mud? I'm tired of scrubbing 6 dozen decoys after every hunt. I'm not even sure how I'm spreading mud, but it ends up on my face, gun, etc. Any tips there would be appreciated, but I understand that maybe it's just part of hunting down there.

No it’s not my last name, was supposed to reference wild turkeys.

How do you deal with heat and humidity putting up fur? I’ve gotten interested in trapping and want to at least try an sell some fur this year vs tanning everything.
