Apply to be a maintenance technician in the apartment industry. Be sure your resume has a list of maintenance you can do. You will follow senior supervisors that will teach you and they will guide you how to get your HVAC card.

Henry Knox dragged those cannon over the Berkshires from Ticonderoga to Boston in winter.
Hauled those cannons over frozen icy bodies of water. One of those cannons broke through and sank. They recovered it and kept trucking.
Knox and Greene were indeed Washington's best generals.
I am surprised that no one has mentioned Louisiana's John Archer Lejeune of Pointe Coupee.

Y'all have no clue what you are asking. Most men cannot hang with widows.
So here is what happens.
1. Ya horn dog friends, married or not, will hit on her. She will likely be disgusted.
2. At the same time, the widow chasers will arrive on the scene and think she has money.
Both 1 and 2 happen in the first year. After year 1, the following happens:
3. She will start dating. She will likely have a dark sense of humor and converge with other widows who are the same. She will likely stop telling men she is widowed because widows are perceived as sad.
4. She will have a new phase that will hit her from nowhere and she will not understand. Timing when it happens is random. Can start as early 6 months, but can even happen 5 years later. We will call this the widhoe stage.
5. She will be abandoned by people.... including your family. All the people who said they would be there are gone after month 1.
6. She will still miss you and cry for you years later. Even decades. She will still think about you and the life you are missing together.
7. She will contend with other men who cannot deal with you. They will ask her to take your pictures down and not talk about you. Make sure you leave her enough money so she doesn't have to deal with crap like that.
Few things you should know. Widows go from married tax rate to single tax rate the year after you die. She gets to live on half of what she had at a higher tax rate. Widows with kids get social security. Those with kids over 18 get nothing until retirement. There are no advocacy groups for these 40 to 65 Widows and they struggle the most. An overwhelming number of widows fall into poverty after death of a spouse. Death of a spouse is the most life changing event and the average person doesn't understand. It isn't at all uncommon for widows to hear "I know your sadness as I felt that way when my dog died." Your dog didn't take out the trash and pay bills.
Her life will forever change and she will have many new battles. She will be judged if she dates too soon and then there will be the other crowd who is on her about not dating. And the men out there she can date are sheetshows. If you didn't provide for her after death in a decent manner, she will have no choice to settle to survive or she will have to make choices on what to lose / give up.

re: Most Cajun Last Names
Posted by TheeMerryWidow on 3/15/23 at 7:49 pm to AcadieAnne
The overwhelming majority of people in Louisiana do not know the difference between Creole and Cajun. This is clearly illustrated in this thread by posts stating ancestors were directly from France and not knowing the term for this group of people. Then we have authentic Creole surnames that are thrown into the Cajun group. It is up to the people who know to explain the difference between the two. Other than my history and genealogy friends, the average person in Louisiana doesn't know the difference.

I am not surprised by the confusion of what people assume to be Cajun names. Cajun means your ancestors were kicked out of Nova Scotia around 1760. The French were in Louisiana prior to this event. Those French are called Creole. Creole has nothing to do with race, but more so ethnicity. The parents of Creoles were from across the ocean, to include Italy, France, Spain, Africa, etc. They spoke French and practiced the Catholic faith. They settled Louisiana 40+ years prior to the Cajuns arriving. Most of Louisiana is Creole, not Cajun.
So why are we known as Cajun? A marketing push by Acadiana during the 1970s to promote Cajun culture. It erased the Creole identity. But the term "Creole" was used for two hundred plus years to describe our ancestors, including in civil records and newspapers.
Next time you pull out your bottle of Tony Chacere's, take a good look at it. This product was created prior to the Cajunization of Louisiana. You will notice it is listed as "Creole" seasoning.
The following names I saw listed are Creole, nor Cajun:
Jeasonne
Saucer
Lemoine
Coco
Rabalais
Ducote
Decuir
Quebedeaux
Bordelon (the mother of the Bordelon family, Anne Francois Roland, was in 1720s NOLA. Her son went on to become a commander in the Pointe Coupee Militia, thereby eventually getting a land grant in Avoyelles.)
Gremillion
Mayeaux
Normand
Oubre
Juneau
Couvillion
Also, most people are unaware that the two oldest settled areas in the state outside of New Orleans are Pointe Coupee and Natchitoches, which were being settled at the same time as NOLA.
And that, kiddos, is your Louisiana history lesson of the day.

This is correct. Dominique du Baldoni did Coco was of Italian descent. He is the progenitor of the Coco family in Louisiana.

It is no secret that crime has been out of control in Baton Rouge for some time. Maybe this case will kickstart changes to make Baton Rouge a better and safer place.

Not sure why it matters if he had life insurance. Life insurance is to make sure that what you tended to in life is tended to after death in addition to covering the funeral. You can name anyone as a beneficiary as it is the policy holder's choice. Minors cannot make decisions, so the mother or guardian of the minor would be trusted to handle the situation.
But, here is what you should know. You cannot obtain life insurance proceeds until a death certificate is issued. A death certificate WILL NOT be issued until toxicology reports are completed. So this family will not have income for about three months unless Nathan's employers workers comp plan will cover his loss of income. Not sure how that would work as he was on a work trip, but yet died after working hours.
But to answer your question, Nathan's minor children will receive a social security benefit until they turn 18 that will be distributed to the mother of the child. The daughter will indeed receive one that will go to the wife. As far as the older children go, I saw that they were adopted to someone else. If that is indeed the case, they will not receive the benefit, which would go to their mother.
Widows receive no social security benefits other than the one time $239 laughable funeral expense reimbursement. A non married widow can collect her husband's social security at the age of 60 if she makes $18,000 or less annually.
It is likely Nathan's employer had a basic life insurance policy of $25,000 or less as that is standard for most companies to provide for all employees. Workers Comp may have covered return of the body since it was a work trip, but again I am not sure since the circumstances around the disappearance was not when work was being done.

People who are adopted or who do not know the identity of a parent have a strong need to know where they came from. However, most adoptees are able to distinguish between the people who raised them lovingly as their parents and the people who gave birth to them.
These parents for 50+ years grieved and wondered what became of their child. Their grieving has come to an end. Most kids who are sold like this naturally feel something is not right with their family and they do not belong. Same case with hidden adoptions and believing a parent may not be a bio parent.

Here are some good ideas:
Instead of Peloton, a Crunch membership is $29 monthly and includes a guest pass. So yeah, she can bring you. Also has massage beds and is 1/10th the price of a boring Peloton.
A bidet. Trust me she will love it.
A subscription to Boxycharm. A 3 month one is $75.
A inscribed ring or bracelet in Roman numerals of a day that is important to you. You can find these on Amazon and there are Roman numeral converters online.
A blowout dryer brush. Can get these at Marshall's or Ulta. FoxyBae is a good brand. Drybar is considered the best, but they have been found to have issues.

re: Marriage over or salvageable?

What did you think marriage would be? Did you think that it would always stay like it was in your dating stage? Is the grass looking better in single town? Ask your single friends how much harder life is doing what two people once worked together on as a couple. And dating..... LOLOLOL
You have unrealistic expectations of marriage. Maybe you should leave so your wife can find a better option. There is some man out there who is willing to step into your shoes and raise your kids in her house. Just saying.....
