I had the same thoughts as well. He does remind me of "the diesel". What a waste of talent that was. Anyway, we have got to get the ball in Ridley's hands more often. Charles Scott is a good back, but this isn't the same Scott we have seen in previous years. I truly feel that Ridley can be a SPECIAL PLAYER for this team.

What about Joe Lee Dunn?

I mean this guy can flat out coach. He doesn't even wear a headset. He is completely old school. He would simplify the defense down to about 6 or 7 plays and draw up blitz packages in the dirt.
I am ashamed to see that no one has mentioned Joe Lee Dunn's name as a possible replacement.
your right and i think it maybe could work. i just hope we get someone aggressive and not so passive. he could be a good fit. june jones was talking about him yesterday on wwl
I don't know if we need Glanville, but I like his aggressive blitzing style. It could work well with all the talent we have. Don't forget, he has coached on the pro level too.
Jerry Glanville, a graduate of Northern Michigan, and someone keeping a close eye on the situation apparently has stated he would be interested if contacted by LSU administration for the vacant DC job. He is now the head coach of Portland State.
