So after I shut you down in a thread where there was a discussion between you and I, you feel the need to jump in this one?

That’s some revisionist history ??

You sure take losses left and right.

I can't because I'm not going to research all your post. If i pointed you out in error, my apologies. But I can admit where I may be wrong.

Seems like a good time for your own advice:

If I may offer you a tip, don't respond to people when you have no idea what you're talking about

He is using his Ohio state education. He gets more money this way than typical food stamps, welfare and section 8 housing. Then when he goes broke he can fall back on the traditional system lol

Cringe

You and keakar are some kind of special.
quote:

020: 0 TD’s

He had one in the playoffs. Was also leading the nfl in contested catches going into last week

He has turf toe. Apparently the Panthers, despite playing in a good weather city, have the worst artificial turf in the league. A few players have bitched about it this year.

He showed he’s still elite this season, but turf toe can hamper any player. I’d rather get him healthy than rush him back like we tried to with his ankle
quote:

Al Woods threw him to the side on one play..

He did, and then we ran it down their throats the rest of the game and used him to lead the way on a lot of those runs. He did a great job when pulling

He cleared the outside pulling on Taysom’s long run

quote:

He's garbage. You are in denial.

He hasn’t allowed a pressure in the passing game since week 1 when the entire oline was shitting the bed.

He’s been far from garbage since then.
quote:

He has marginally improved and I’m rooting for him

He’s drastically improved because he was just bad last season

quote:

He did play well last game and iirc game against Falcons played well.

He was absolutely awful against the Falcons. Awful.

I don’t think he’s given up a pressure since though. He may have had 1 vs Al woods in the passing game but I think that was more on McCoy who fell down

Having said that, drew brees kneeling for a common criminal was the ultimate spit in the face for me as a saints fan. Worse than the bum days, the Ditka debacle, and the billy joes. I will be rooting for Joey B come Sunday.

Jesus

Once again, Drew Brees has never kneeled for the national anthem.

And you certainly don’t seem to know Burrow’s opinion on those matters.

I literally quoted that in my post.

Do you understand what the word “maybe” is?

And on that note, I’m out. Glad you could finally “backtrack” and admit you were wrong on 99% of your posts here.

Before your last post, this is what you had said:

That is not admitting you’re wrong.

Please quote yourself admitting you were wrong “multiple times”.

What constant bashing besides the kneeling where I've already stated I was wrong?

First you hadn’t admitted you were wrong. Second, all those posts occurred after he took his Jersey off….

quote:

Do I think he stole money, yes

Stole money by playing through multiple injuries BELOW the market rate for his production. He turned down $30 million per year

quote:

he quit

He retired after breaking 6 ribs, having a punctured lung, and needing another shoulder surgery. Jesus. The Saints structured his contract with yearly outs for the organization and decided to add a dummy year, as they’ve done to multiple players (like Armstead).

Does your life not offer more than searching every post about drew Brees and attempt to defend him?

Does your life not offer more than to be so bitter and so judgmental towards the greatest Saints ever (on and off the field).

Not sure that’s something you want to compare either, my life is golden.

What beliefs did he sell?

I bring it back to the conversation he had with Watson, who I also believe to be a great man who’s earned respect:

It doesn't upset me, once he took off his saints uniform I don't care about him.

Your constant bashing of him for a wrongly held belief of him kneeling says otherwise. You’ve posted a lot of bs trash about him.

I haven't researched but maybe I'm wrong on kneeling but it was the point he backtracked on his words to appease the crowd.

LINK

You haven’t researched it but have been beating that drum repeatedly bashing him for “kneeling”

His “backtrack” was changing his opinion on how he views others who may kneel for the anthem, while also stating that he would never do so:

quote:

“I’ll always stand for the flag because of what it means to me and to honor all those who have sacrificed, who have served and died for our country, and all those who have struggled to move this country forward,” Brees said Saturday in a conference call with reporters to discuss the onset of training camp.

“I acknowledge and respect anyone who chooses to kneel or any other form of peaceful protest to bring attention to social injustice and systemic racism that so many have endured and continue to endure in our country,” Brees continued, adding that he “always will support and advocate for Black and brown communities in the fight for social justice.”

He did that after talking to people like Ben Watson, who is another great man. He’s also put his time and money where his mouth is doing multiple USO tours, working with Wounded Warriors, and providing service dogs to veterans (among many other charitable donations and projects)

What are you even talking about?

I literally quoted your post for every single response. Here let me copy and paste it again:

quote:

1. Did he not steal money from the saints knowing his arm would give out?

No, he still produced with a passer rating of over 106 in his final year. The Saints front office was fully aware of his limitations and we won the fricking divison.

quote:

2. Did we not pay him for a season he knew he would not play?

You're blaming Brees for having a dummy year to spread out cap hits? Are you an idiot?

quote:

4. Why did brees never take a significant pay cut to help field a competent team to win another Superbowl, if that is what was so important to him?

Well he did following the Minnesota Miracle. $25 million/year was far below what he would have been offered on the open market.

Furthermore, the Saints chose to let him repeatedly play out his contracts instead of trying to extend him early. That's how you get discounts, you move the risk.

quote:

5. The obligatory, why did Mr. Stand-up, kneel and shite on his grandfathers name to appease his black teammates to try to win another Superbowl, when he wouldn't take a pay cut to help the team?

AS ar lurker, you've repeatedly said this same bullshite over and over. Let's break it down:

quote:

why did Mr. Stand-up, kneel

Drew Brees has never kneeled for the national anthem. He changed his stance on others who kneeled during the anthem after discussing it with friends and players like Colston and Watson.

He literally doubled down on his stance that he would never kneel during the national anthem after the outrage and before the season started

quote:

shite on his grandfathers name

What was your relationship to his grandfather?

What gives you the right to speak for him?'

Pathetic

What was your relationship to his grandfather?

Still waiting for you to address the rest of your bullshite that I responded to, including the fact that Brees has never kneeled during the national anthem, yet you continuously beat that retarded drum

quote:

Bow out you lost lol

Lolz. Once again check that reading comprehension.

quote:

take some time, gather a thought and then post it.

Despite you repeatedly claiming it, has Brees ever kneeled during the national anthem? This isn’t hard.

I never said you compared yourself to him. I simply asked for your accomplishments and how you’ve helped Louisiana so I could judge your pathetic self against him. And you obviously didn’t measure up.

Now back to your original #1-5 questions that you’ve ignored the majority of.

Drew Brees has never kneeled during the national anthem.

Reading comprehension:

And since you obviously aren't as successful as him, feel free to just compare your time spent on improving the lives of those around you to what he's done

My relationship with my grandfather was great, my grandfather was one of the serviceman who stormed the beaches of Normandy in d day. He also was a klansman after he returned home. He also started and ran several successful businesses. One is a gas station that is a mile from my house. So what is your next question/comment? Do you have a sarcastic remark because I stated my grandfather who was born in 1917 was a klansman? Or because he was a successful business man?

That’s an interesting story that has nothing to do with what I asked. Try reading it again. Maybe remove the hood first.

Why did you ignore the rest of your bullshite “facts” that I responded to?

You're pathetic. Can't even take downvotes on a stupid message board yet are trying to diminish a great man's accomplishments and faking outrage in the name of Drew's own family.

Let's compare your resume' and what you've done for Louisiana in comparison to Drew. And since you obviously aren't as successful as him, feel free to just compare your time spent on improving the lives of those around you to what he's done
