Winner should be number 1. Texas isn't the best team in the nation or the SEC. That will eventually correct itself.

Their schedule was arse last year, they lost a bunch of talent to the NFL, and didn't replace accordingly. The year prior they navigated the portal impressively.

Texas and LSU will be two different teams than they are now. Catching Ohio State early was a good thing for Texas, coming to Baton Rouge later in the season will not... just Sayin (no Pun).

Yes he should. The last coach to win it all calling plays was Jimbo. If Sark doesn't make the playoffs this year, with this talent, he's definitely gonna have to hire one to keep his job.

I'm with you when it comes to Sark, but OU extending Venables is good news to me. Frankly, both Texas and OU's head coaches are glorified offensive and defensive coordinators, respectively. The fact Sark owns Venables so far in head-to-head is nice though.

He's not wrong. Sark's record in big games is terrible, and being 0-5 against Smart and Day is embarrassing, considering the amount of resources he has.
