Why is paying for sex the only option? Also, trafficking will still happen with legal prostitution. It happens now in countries where it's legal.

Why are you so against even the possibility that for some men it is very difficult to near impossible to have sex without paying for it?

And again you are making the same old tired arguments. So because some people can't handle alcohol then all alcohol should be banned? Because some people can't handle gambling all gambling should be banned?

The human trafficking aspect is different than the question I'm asking. Why shouldn't two people be able to do a transaction with one person providing money and one person providing service? The human trafficking argument is a separate argument that isn't valid IMO to whether prostitution should be legal or not so I would appreciate a direct answer to my question.

You can legalize prostitution while still going after the human trafficking hard. Keeping prostitution illegal isn't making it go away just like banning drugs isn't making drugs go away. If anything making prostitution illegal just means there's even more of a market for women who are most likely trafficked. All you are doing by keeping prostitution illegal is making it more dangerous for both the men who need to go the prostitution route as well as for the prostitutes themselves. You are ensuring the pimps are the ones who control the supply and have the power. Your mentality contributes to the human trafficking problem.

You're hurting your case by citing that whack job. That "kid" doesn't inspire sympathy at all. People much uglier than him get laid everyday. His problems were his own and were not his victims' fault.

I'm not saying you should have sympathy for him. I'm just saying there are a lot of guys out there like him, especially young guys, that, in today's dating/sex environment, can't get sex without paying for it and can't get a girlfriend.

Online date has changed the game and IMO for the worst. Especially for the guys in the middle. In general guys who are 8's, 9's and 10's will be able to hook up with and date women who are 8's, 9's and 10's. Guys who are 1's, 2's and 3's will accept they can only hook up and date women who are 1's, 2's and 3's. A lot of guys who are in the middle, the 4 - 7 group, are the ones who are screwed. Women in the 4 - 7 group won't date guys who are in the 4 - 7 group or have sex with them. This is due to online dating where the 4 - 7 women can hook up with 8 - 10 guys. Now the 8 - 10 guys will never date them or ever consider them as anything but a one night stand or f*ck buddy but the women think that because they can hook up with them they can somehow eventually date and marry them.

I bring this all up because a lot of average guys who are younger have been unable to have sex. Almost all studies done show that average millennial and Gen Z men are having less sex than previous generations and more are virgins at older ages. The 8 - 10 guys are cleaning up and leaving the 4 - 7 guys behind.

Whether you like it or not that's going to end up causing more Elliott Rodger types. Only 0.1% might ever go as far as he did but that's still a fair amount of guys out there who could lose it.

If men actually had an option to pay for sex legally in their area it wouldn't completely solve the problem but it would help a lot of guys. Not just in terms of getting the sex monkey off their backs but possibly in dating as well as they will get more experience being intimate with women.

And with all that said please read and respond to the rest of my post as well.
It's still well above what it was when Biden took office even though I'll admit it's down to $3.25 - $3.35 here in my part of Florida. Still high but back to the point where it's not crippling and/or causing me to have to make significant lifestyle changes.

To me it just feels like a setup. I feel like the Biden administration is doing everything possibly to get and keep gas prices down before the midterms. And for now it's working and sadly it means they've taken gas prices off the table for most Americans, even though everything else is up.

I just feel like the price has gone down due to the administration flooding the market with the strategic reserves. Once the midterms are over the strategic reserves will be turned off and gas will go right back up again.

Anyone else feel the same way?

Does it? To what extent? Are you about to argue sex is a "human right" Mr. Bernie Sanders? What else on your wishlist is now a human right? Free candy for all kids? You seem to sincerely believe its absolutely mandatory, so why not just call it a "need" like you're clearly implying?

Good job not even trying to be decent. Do you enjoy supporting big government intervention in the bedroom Mr. Putin. Because you sure as heck aren't a conservative with that big government viewpoint.

I never said it was some sort of human right. I said it's a biological need which BTW has been backed up by science. Many scientific studies have shown that men and woman have physical and sexual needs that need to be met on a regular basis and that physical touch and sexual interactions significantly help the body in multiple ways.

Let me ask you something, what's the longest you've gone in your adult life without having sex? Because if it isn't that long you honestly don't know what you're talking about.

quote:

Literally ZERO evidence that had anything to do with sex.

We have a strange amount of people that don't realize how Freudian they are. You actually think Freud is taken seriously anymore?

I don't know how to tell you this, but not all acts in life are indicative of some underlying sexual disorder or pent up sexual longing.

The kids whole manifesto was literally all about not having sex or having a girlfriend. Or do you not find it coincidental that a lot of the men who commit mass casualty events are men who you have had little to no sex in their lives?

quote:

Because in many cases, like in many cases on record within the pornography industry, the people that end up in prostitution are underage, or someone who has mental issues that is being taken advantage of. A lot of drugs, a lot of suicide, a lot of broken people that end up even more broken.

Just recently instagram banned a porn website because it was engaging in criminal activity...which is standard for that industry, doubly so for any sort of prostitution ring.

Does a single person in that lineup look like someone making high quality decisions? Have you ever met prostitutes in America?

There's very little healthy about prostitution unless you're an idiotic Freudian who still thinks Freud's ideas are taken seriously anymore.
The man thought children wanted to secretly sleep with their parents.

Congratulations on just making the same failed arguments that prohibitionists made 100 years ago. Congratulations on making the same failed arguments people make against gambling. Are you wanting us to ban alcohol and gambling again?

A lot of people who drink alcohol become alcoholics. Those alcoholics typically end up destroying their lives and potentially breaking up their families. Those alcoholics will drive drunk sometimes and end up hurting/killing people. Those alcoholics will caused depressed people to become even more depressed. Many alcoholics will end up committing suicide. So according to your standard, because some people can't handle alcohol, we need to ban all alcohol right?

A lot of people who gamble will gamble away all of their money. A lot of people who gamble will put gambling above their own families and put their families at risk of homelessness and hunger. A lot of people who gamble will end up breaking up their families. A lot of people who gamble will resort to illegal actions to get more money to gamble when the money they actually have in their bank account runs out. A lot of people who gamble have an addiction to it which by its very nature is a mental problem and will lose everything. Those people will break up families, lead to financial ruin and in many cases end in suicide. So because some people can't handle gambling we need to ban gambling right?

Everything you said about prostitution I could say about alcohol and gambling. Yet I don't see you pushing for those to be banned.

The problem you have is a common problem. You are attempting to put two issues into one. I think prostitution should be legal, safe and regulated. I think human trafficking is disgusting and should be banned with the violators being arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

You can be pro prostitution while also being against human trafficking. I actually think legalizing prostitution would help with the trafficking. Is it going to cause human trafficking to disppear? Of course not. Alcohol is legal but there are people who still make their own alcohol illegally. Where gambling is legal you can still find bookies and I'm sure plenty of "off the books" games that aren't technically legal. But by legalizing prostitution you hurt the pimps and the human traffickers.

By legalizing prostitution there could be legitimate business for the service instead of shady websites and women on the corner. Prostitutes could truly be self employed independent contractors instead of relying on a pimp who is probably giving them drugs daily and abusing them physically and mentally. By legalizing prostitution the prostitutes could even unionize to ensure fair working conditions and hours.

Will some people still go to the back alley or street corner or shady website? Of course they will, but a lot less will. And that strips the pimps and the ones doing it illegally a lot of their power. People in general will pay the same price if not even a little more for the legal version knowing they don't have to worry about that prostitute potentially being an undercover cop. If I had ended up having to go the prostitution/escort route I'd gladly pay an extra $100 for the legal option. That $100 would be money well spent to not have to worry about the woman possibly being uncover law enforcement.

And you never did answer my question, what about two consenting adults (victims of human trafficking by nature of their situation are not able to truly consent) arranging for a fair transaction of sex for a certain amount of compensation?

Why are you so against men, who by nature of maybe not being attractive or not having the best personality, being able to pay to have sex when it's the only option for them? There are many men who's only option for sex is flat out paying for it.

And why are you judging? That's the other problem here. You don't know them. Now are many of them the best and brightest of society? I seriously doubt it. But why do you assume everyone who goes that route are the dregs of society? Heck there have been famous sports stars and entertainers who have paid for sex. I almost went that route not too long ago because I was in a dry spell and was desperate for sex. I would've treated the woman with respect and I am someone who has a basic but nice place, full time job, pays all my bills, has no debt and tries to help my community when I can. Am I also a horrible person in your eyes?
quote:

Bruh, we're not entitled to sex

This is such a BS argument and totally wrong. No one is entitled to sex from a specific individual, you are right there. But sex is a biological need that men and women have.

Technically we aren’t entitled to food or water either but I’m sure you would agree we all need that for survival. Yes you won’t die from not having sex but it does mess with you mentally.

Your mentally is how we get people like Elliott Rodger and that Toronto guy who reach the breaking point. Maybe if prostitution was legal those tragedies don’t happen. No excusing then by any means but just say there are a lot of potential Elliott Rodgers out there.

What’s your solution? Just “sucks to be you.”? You realize most men aren’t just going to accept that right? So why not provided a legal, safe and regulated avenue to address the need?

So please explain again why sex between two consenting adults where money is exchanged for the service (sex) should be illegal.

Frickin Grady Judd doing Grady stuff. This dude is a piece of work.

Check out some his well known quotes.

Grady quotes

Guys like him are the ones that do give "defund the police" some credibility. He makes the job of real police officers and sheriffs much more difficult. He loves the spotlight and has as long as I've lived in Florida and heard about him. What's weird is he truly does have a cult like following as well. Reminds me a lot of Joe Paterno and we all saw how that ended up.

I live in the Daytona Beach area (a few counties over from Polk County where Grady Judd is sheriff) and a few times a year Grady Judd will do these busts (though it's usually underage sex and child pornography, not sex between two consenting adults) and he gets to give one of his lecturing press conferences. Luckily even local media have started to tune him out a little more.

Grady Judd truly thinks the people are there to serve him and that he doesn't have to serve the people.
I live in Florida and stuff like this is why Polk County (between Orlando and Tampa) will always be the armpit of Florida. The only people who live there are people who grew up there and don't know anything else (pretty much like Louisiana/Mississippi) or lower income retirees who want to be in Florida but can't afford a nicer area closer to the coast.

I have always been on the fund the police side but Grady Judd does represent the worst in police. Grady Judd goes after stuff like this as it's low hanging fruit and gives him nice exposure while not focusing on real crime. Never mind, like most small towns, in small town Polk County you can get off if you know the right person. And they intentionally target tourists for traffic violations. I refuse to do any business or ever stop in Polk County.

The biggest problem though with Grady Judd is that he's forgotten that he is supposed to serve the community. Grade Judd to me has always come off as pretty arrogant and as a man who seem to truly believe the community serves him, not the other way around. The same problem with most of our representatives in D.C.

Prostitution should be legal or in the very least decriminalized where the buyer would only face a fine, not jail time for what is a minor crime at most. Really they aren't even criminals IMO. They've done busts like this in the past but it was for child sex and child pornography which I was glad to see those people caught. Never between two consenting adults.

Some of you conservatives here talk about the "costs" of making it legal and having bigger government. I would remind everyone here that as a conservative we believe in limited government, not no government. And how is it in any way conservative for government to decide what two consenting private citizen adults do in a bedroom? That absolutely goes against conservatism in almost any way. Government decided that two consenting adults can't agree to sex in exchange for an agreed amount of money is big government in the worst way.

In many ways I feel bad for these men. Women complain all the time but at the end of the day they have it better for one reason. Women never have to pay for sex. If a woman wants it they can have it that night. The only exception would be a woman who has some sort of legitimate disability (mental or physical) or is just truly bottom 10% ugly, but even then they can find a bottom 10% man.

I truly believe that is why men are the ones who commit the mass murders or ram cars into crowds. A lot of them are men who have had little to no success for women.

Some of you truly come off as knowing nothing about this issue and coming from a perspective that you can't understand it because you are married and have a steady supply of sex. A lot of men, especially younger men, don't have that.

Heck I'll admit I've had some dry stretches and it really starts to mess with you mentally. You become more bitter, angry, depressed and desperate. Luckily my longest dry spell was just over a year but it was still bad near the end. After sex I was like a new man. But some of you all need to understand a lot of men don't have the choice. It's either pay for the sex or not have sex at all. This issue gets to me as I'll admit that several times during a dry spell I've considered going the escort/prostitution route just to get some action and get the sexual juices flowing again. Am I a criminal in your eyes? Meeting a biological need is not being a criminal.

And newsflash, most men aren't OT ballers. Most men can't just get on a flight to a Nevada bunny ranch/brothel or jet over to Thailand or Europe.

So what are those men supposed to do? Why should a man not be able to pay for a service (in this case sex) to satisfy a biological need?
