LOL all this talk of Florida in comparison to Auburn.

Muschamp, McElwain, Mullin, Napier, LOL.

Florida struggled mightily to get an indoor facility and football facility.

Their resources will be drained by having to spend $1.5 billion on a stadium they let become a dump.

Chizik gave Auburn a national championship in 3 years.
The Malzahn run, in total, was slightly above average, with an SEC championship and another runner up in 10 years or so.

The Auburn admin has since replaced 2 bad coaches as fast as humanly possible.

Big shock in a 5th try, Florida might be good again - and this is very much in doubt long term as anyone can tell that Buster Faulker is a part of early predicted success (based on one game against Auburn...).

I just can't buy into that - that they did enough. I'll give the offense credit for 14 points at home.
The game was over at 34 -17.

Mistakes happen, but it was a bad showing at key periods.

The first three attempts at drives were catastrophic - Pick on your side of the field after winning the toss (at home), 3 and out, then -14 yards from UF's 8.

I don't know how it could get much worse.

Then 3 and out when the pressure is on at the first possession of the 2nd half.

I've seen the "show" yards and TDs too many times.

Well at 13 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, we both had 6 possessions, yet our defense had been on the field for 69% of the clock. I believe that explains a lot.

Ohterwise, Buster Faulkner is a premium coach and also we only have slightly above average talent on defense (not NFL type).

Meh, we've been bad and unenjoyable, but as far as quantifying anything and declaring we are rock bottom, no one else plays Alabama and Georgia every year. Even the teams in the top 8 don't beat them regularly over the time period. Schedule matters.

Welp, given the amount of material available from wins over UF in Jordan-Hare, that video sucked.

LOL at the SEC 9 game schedule. Then if you are tops you get to go to a championship game.

Middle to lower - tiers of other leagues are not even close to the SEC.

The problem isn't necessarily 5 or 6 real to tough games, but the other 3 or 4 SEC games are not cake walks.

1983 AU had Texas, FSU, Tennessee, UF, UGA, and UA. But the other five were pretty easy with USM, UK, Tech, Miss St. and Maryland.

Yes, so far, beyond disappointed there has been zero flow on offense.

Nervous about how much stock they seem to put in tempo. Can you ever grow the necessary offensive line going when your main emphasis seems to be going fast?

But it really doesn't matter because everyone knows you have to have success in 2 to 3 years and related to this the buy out is very reasonable (75% of remaining at $7M a year).

Yeah, kinda seems like the type to say " I don't have time to eat." (when given this chance of a lifetime). Not that things will definitely work out.

Then again, he is making bank, so why not take it.
