They finally have a coach that’s going to play the best player regardless of “big name” and all that.
Brennan wasn’t the guy and it forced him to quit. He was spoiled, entitled even.
When you have coaches like O allowing players like Stingley and Ricks to hurt your program based on name alone, it just doesn’t work out.
Ricks is having to earn it at Bama, and now LSU has that same mentality.

I think our expectations will always be too high after producing Ridley, Ruggs, Jeudy, Smith, Metchie, Waddle, and Williams in such a short time frame.
We will have to run the ball well to win a title this season. If we can’t then we fall short again.
