@Oates Mustache Yes,I'm serious, I know“flattening the curve”and I guess "flatten the turd" was a joke about “flattening the curve” but for the gays. But I wasn't 100% sure,so I asked:)

Could anyone explain me what "Two weeks to flatten the turd, or two weeks to flatten the bird?" means? I know the general meaning, but I'm not sure I get the metaphor of "turd" & "bird" correctly. English is not my mother tongue, thank you in advance.
