bayuborn--how would you rank the hc's from 89 - 07 in ability, not necessarily results?

i just don't think his heart is in it anymore. sure, he would keep coaching a few more years but not with the intensity to push our teams to the top, imo.

does anyone here remember the lsu disasters besides me and bayuborn 89-93 (my graduation) and beyond? Les may have his moments of inability to think and talk straight but he is a stud compared to what i suffered through.

moots, i posted just before yours that i clearly remember those days and will always support LSU no matter what but I just don't want to be the at the bottom of the SEC again.

whatever happens, i NEVER want to be known as the SEC bottom feeder like we were when i was at LSU (89-93). We were a complete failure in my eyes and the only game that was a guaranteed win was Tulane. I clearly remember starting our season against Texax AM and being humiliated and it just went down from there. In a way, I am happy with Les because of what he has accomplished versus what I call the "dark years" of LSU football. I can only hope for the best.
