I'm not in the business of spreading anything.

I'm just relaying what she said was going on around campus currently and that I would ask her who she got that info from.

Very well could be rumors ramping up.

I have no idea and didn't claim to have any idea.

Just relaying what a 20 year old girl told her mother in a thread about a 20 year old girl

Nothing more
Ok, I have not read this entire thread and don't know if this has been addressed but will add this detail here in case it has not been.

And then I will try to read all of the other pages to catch up.

I have a daughter enrolled in her Junior year LSU. She is involved in Greek life. She told us yesterday that they received something internally (not sure if it was campus police or school admin/sorority, etc...) stating that they now believe 'this may' be related to a gang initiation practice of some sort. I'm assuming getting a clean kill on a girl involved in Greek life or something similar as it was explained to me. The directives from the message she received instructed all girls involved in Greek life to remove any markings or stickers from their cars that would identify them as a campus student or member of any of the sororities.

Again, I have not seen it yet so I can't state who the information was sent from but as of yesterday evening my daughter said the paring garage was full of girls and their boyfriends stripping their cars of anything that would identify them as a sorority member.

That's all the information I have but I will read the other pages and update this once I see the information my daughter received firsthand
It has been an interesting journey watching Dr. John navigate through the early days of the pandemic to where he is now.

The move into the pro-vax narrative and then to the pro-boost narrative to the release of the Pfizer papers and the slow realization of what is actually going on. Now as he navigates the excess mortality without stepping on the youtube censoring landmines all around him.

He has remained a voice of calm and rationality each day while the rest of the world has been tearing itself apart with ignorance.

It really has been incredible to watch him wake up in real time from where he was in the beginning to where he is at now.

Hey all, long-time lurker, first-time poster here.

I have a question about spray polyurethane that I can't seem to find a logical answer on.

I am coating some stairs that are exposed to mild elements outside. They have already been stained so this is more of just an added layer of protection for no real reason outside of having a spray can of poly that I was itching to try.

While reading the instructions, it states that a second coat can be applied within 2 hours of the initial coat. If a second coat is not applied within 2 hours of the initial coat, a second coat can be applied after 72 hours.

Then I noticed that this is not an uncommon suggestion. I found the same line on some cans of spray paint as well as liquid stain.

Why do you need to wait 70 additional hours if you don't recoat something within 2 hours?

I assumed it was because the undercoat would need to cure but on each of the examples above, the cans state that they are fully cured in times ranging from 2 hours to 14 hours after the application.

Why add that line in the directions? Why is something recoatable for the first 2 hours but not again for 72 hours after being sprayed?
