It is field turf. I was on that field about 5 years ago and it looked to be in good shape.

I think Mizzou games are fun. Not as fun as an LSU game, but still fun. I think they'll fit in well with the SEC, and their level of play will have to get better.
As far as the rest of the state... there is a lot of college football up here. Whether it be Mizzou and Kansas, or the smaller Division II schools like Central Missouri (Go Mules!!!!), Missouri Southern, NW Mo State and Pittsburg State. The MIAA (the D2 conference here) is often referred to the SEC of D2 due to the competition and constantly having a team in the championship game. This is a state that loves football. The Chiefs suck and the stadium is full. The Rams suck, and the dome is full.
I think the Mizzou fans will travel well. Also, we're pretty excited up here because we'll get to see LSU play up here if Mizzou joins the SEC.

Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan.... but normally Missouri. I'm hoping the link works in the plane tonight so I can watch the game while flying.

I'll land around half time. But I'll take a pic and post it.
Right now I'm flying an MC-12 Liberty. It's a modified King Air 350 that does Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance. We work with the boys on the ground and provide overwatch and coordinate for them while a raid/battle is going on.

Well that's not as fun as opening fire on them yourself.

Um.... I find that hajis, and then tell the boys on the ground where they're hiding. Then I yell :geauxtigers:

Nah, there's another pilot on board. He can handle that. I'll even wear my LSU hat.

If anyone is looking for a place to watch the game with me here in Afghanistan, I'll be watching it during my flight. Nothing like watching hajis and Ducks getting blowed up at the same time.

I watched it, and like tiga said, I was glued to the TV. Talk about a wide range of emotions watching that program. I got choked up seeing those people jumping to their deaths. What were they thinking, experiencing, that got them to jump? Outright anger, just like when I watched the events on tv on that day. And even a little bit of humor with what some of the people on there said. Funny how we can find something funny in the most horrible of times.
