Herbstreit pushed LSU as the "best team in the country" during the VT broadcast.

He had us #1 AFTER we lost to UK.

His source, which he apparently trusts, had bad info. That's not his fault.

He was pushing LSU to BCS title game pretty hard last night.

I know he's said things at other times that we disagree with, but he's pretty fair toward LSU, especially this season. I think we hold him (& others in the media) to a much higher standard than is realistic at times.

It's an opinion piece, not a news article. And my point is that Feinstein is arguably less hyperbolic than Saban himself was. (Sept. 11th? Come the frick on, Nick.)

Hyperbole is okay when you approve of the point being made, but not when it's used against your coach? It's all a matter of perspective.
