If I could go to other schools I would. I have only been accepted into LA schools. it’s competitive enough to get into the schools here, and only exponentially harder out of state. ...

From what I’ve heard is that STEP scores are pretty similar, would love to leave Louisiana at some point for residency and saw approx 50% at Nola placed in residency OOS. Can’t find this stat for Shreveport. Been hard to tell a lot about program atmosphere since interviews were all conducted on zoom...

I have been accepted to shreveport and new orleans for medical school. Until recently, I was dead set on Nola. However, with all the recent news on crime, I am wondering if I should reconsider that decision. Anyone with insight would be greatly appreciated....
