I’m sure we played together Tiger85.
I meant 15-20 thousand people. One other thing I forgot to mention. Sophomores played those games as well. Not sure when they ended as I was there when Bo Rien was supposed to be our coach but he passed away in a plane crash. Coach Stovall took over.
re: Did any of you ever attend an LSU JV football game?

I started on those teams. It was great especially for walk ons. We played a 6 game schedule. We played Tulane in Bernie Moore Miss St in Tiger stadium Memphis Houston and SLU in strawberry stadium which was packed. Most of the freshman scholarship guys cut their teeth in those games except for a few amazing players like Dalton Hilliard and Gary James. Several of those games in Tiger stadium had a I’d say almost 15-20 people. Looking back it’s something how many stars both at LSU and other schools played in those games. At that time pretty necessary to develop talent. It was a great time and a lot of fun. Wish I had the film of the SLU game.
