I think there are several factors that should be looked at that may not previously have been mentioned.
US Steel has roughly 22k US workers. Nippon promised not to cut US Jobs for only a 10 year period. After that, US workers will lose their jobs.
As for the US based companies that have tried to buy, Cleveland-Cliffs offered 8.3 billion that was supported by the union and rejected by US steel. Nippon offered almost double the money at 15 billion. Now we need to find out who stands to gain the most money by selling at a higher price at the expense of the US worker.
US steel CEO David Burritt owns 27 million worth of US steel shares. US steel is at 30$ a share with the Nippon offering 55$ per share.
Burritt was responsible for the staging of a workers rally in support of a Nippon buyout.
Let’s continue to look at the shareholders “unanimous” support for the Nippon buyout. We simply need to keep following the money.

2. Vanguard- 9%
3. Pentwater Capital- 9%
4. State Street Corp- 4%
5. Dimensional Fund- 4%
The rest of the list are mostly investment managements companies. I believe this is a prime example of the greed that has caused the degradation of American manufacturing and the loss of American jobs. I could be wrong and feel free to fact check the hell out of me.

Guy is a real man’s man. The kind of guy to step up to an E-6 (who is a real animal) over some silly sh*t. Said officer rips his own rank off. (squaring up) The E-6 then proceeds to fully de-blouse. At that point, said officer apologized with tears in his eyes and said he didn’t understand what taking his rank off meant. We all laugh at his cowardice, literally. Proceeds to leave area immediately and swiftly tell on himself to higher rank. I have so much more but I’ll stop. You get the picture. I hate his family will suffer because of his foolishnesses.
