It's just fun watching you guys squirm. LSU has been irrelevant for years until Saban.

Just because you HAVE scored 21 for so many games, dont mean you WILL. Again, what is it with you guys and streaks? Just because you have one going dont mean it will not get broken.

AU and UF defense is NOWHERE near the level of the bama d. They are good, don't get me wrong. Statistically, So. Car's D is only 1 yard better per game than Bama, but they give up 40 more yards per game on the ground than Bama.

USC also allows about 15 ppg, while Bama allows about 12.

First, anyone who thinks LSU will score more than 21 against Bama D if the game is close, is seriously mistaken. WILL NOT HAPPEN.

Anyone that thinks LSU will win by more than a touchdown is NUTS. A better LSU team barely beat a worse Bama team last year, and JPW gave the game away in the 4th.

Anyone that thinks streaks have anything to do with who wins this game is also sorely mistaken. This is a different Bama team with a much better coach. LSU and AU made their runs when Bama was sporting the worst teams on the field in decades.

Please, give '05 a rest. Yeah, Bama was undefeated when they played LSU. Yeah, LSU and AU proceeded to beat them. They had ZERO offense after the Prothro injury. The D held up, they just couldn't score. '08 is a totally different team. JPW is far from a great QB, but he is a good game manager. He has not made the mistakes this year that have cost Bama games in previous years. Senior experience is CRUCIAL. Ask J. Lee.

Bama special teams are suspect though. I fully expect a possible LSU score, or scoring drive started by a long kickoff return.

Also, no way LSU runs on Bama all day. No one has all year, I wouldn't expect it to start now. Lee will have to complete some downfield passes. The deep ball has been there against Bama, but no one is completing it because of (usually), a pretty good pass rush from the Bama line.

The key to an LSU win is consistent downfield passing, effective blitz/rush on passing downs (should be easy), dont give the Bama receivers a 10 yard cushion, and don't give the ball away.

Bama won't dominate on the scoreboard, but they will in yards and TOP. I predict a bama win, but it will be pretty close. They will move the ball well, but drives will stall close to the redzone, giving LSU a chance. The Hat does something stupid, giving the ranters something to be mad about and believe that if it weren't for that one thing, LSU would have won, and also allow for the "Bama is overrated stuff" to continue because they wont blow out LSU like UF and UGA.
