Poplarville is much nicer than Carriere/Picayune in my opinion. The town is great also. Deer are small but generally plentiful. Hogs can be a problem. I have a lease in Carriere and a place in Poplarville. The deer seem to be much more pressured in Carriere area.
Can't remember the name of the charter but he picked us up in a 35' Tiara type boat right in the marina downtown mackinac. he was a very young captain. we went around July 4th time frame and myself and my kids hooked probably 25-30 fish in a4 hour charter. we got tired of catching lake trout, kings and steelhead and ended up jumping in the lake to swim.

Having been to Germany and Croatia the last 2 years I had the exact same feeling that we were being lied to about food inflation... good real food was very, very affordable over there even when adjusting for Euros...C

Buddy and I also got a deep discounted trip with Kuche safaris and went with them back in 2016. The guides and trackers were amazing and the food and unlimited wine was great. just can't eat any of the vegetables/fruits.

Browning 308 BAR DBM - optics recommendation?

What is a good optic and rings recommendation for my new Browning BAR DBM in .308. Primarily used in Pearl River area of Mississippi for Deer/Hogs 100 yard shots and less. $600 is my upper price limit.
