Hi everyone! Jean-Paul Bourgeois here. I don't make it on here much anymore but every time I do I am met with a whole bunch of encouragement and support. Duck Camp Dinners Season 4 The Texas Tour is out now and on my YouTube Channel "Stir the Pot". If you love the outdoors and cooking or if you just want to be entertained by my dumb arse friends then please come over to the channel and give it a watch. Louisiana nation has always been so good to me and this show so I hope you enjoy this new season.
Thank you to everyone who has watched over the years. To those that are new to the show.... Welcome to the krewe and remember to shoot straight and come hungry!

Duck Camp Dinners Season 3
Posted by ChefJP on 8/29/23 at 10:17 am
Good morning tiger fans! Chef Jean-Paul here back again to ask for some help from the purple and gold faithful. Before I ask, I just want to thank everyone for supporting our project through the years. Honestly, it's pretty incredible that I can jump on a forum like this and have such an awesome response from all you folks. THANK YOU !
So here is the nitty gritty. We are filming season 3 this duck/goose season and I want to expand to some new places. As you probably all know, we want to find family/friend camps opposed to commercial hunting operations. The essence of the duck camp or hunting camp is what makes the show so special. Hunting, fishing, cooking, cuttin' up!
poule d'eau, gallinou, specks, snows, divers, white tail, squirrels and rabbits, all fishing, is all on the table.
Some spots I am looking to film are:
Lake Charles area (Creole, Johnson Bayou, Vinton, anywhere north of LC)
Gueydan - Problem here seems to be finding private duck camps and not commercial operations
Shreveport area - Think La side of Caddo, etc
Monroe area - 1 hr drive radius
The Wax - and other areas around the Atchafalalya river
Hopefully this gets some good networks going and thank you in advance for your help on this folks! If you have any leads or suggestions, you can of course comment here or shoot me an email directly at: bourgeois_jeanpaul@yahoo.com

Duck Camp Dinners season 2 OUT NOW!

Good afternoon everyone!
My name is Jean-Paul Bourgeois and I am from Thibodaux Louisiana. You may also know me as the creator of Duck Camp Dinners. We have a new season out and its on the MeatEater YouTube channel. The truth is that the YT algorithm does not want us to succeed so its up to us, the grass roots following of the show to make sure that as many eyes get on it as possible. It is also true that the future is DCD is mostly reliant on how it preforms so if you like the show or know someone that you think would like the show, please take the time to give it a view, a like, and a comment. More than anything, this kind of engagement is what its going to take for us to continue making this show that so many Louisianians take pride in.
Thank you to everyone for the support! Link below!

We would like to film and set some traps and harvest a sack from their pond during this season of Duck camp dinners. Dates would be sometime between December 28 and December 30. If you know anyone please pass them along to me!

Musicians and bands for Duck Camp Dinners Season 2
Posted by ChefJP on 10/6/21 at 9:20 pm
Good evening friends,
My name is Jean-Paul Bourgeois and I am the creator of Duck Camp Dinners the MeatEater YouTube show.
We are filming season 2 in Louisiana and music is such a big part of the episodes. We are looking for new and old musicians and bands from Louisiana. I don't care how popular you are or where and how big your shows are. What is important to me is that you are a good representation of the incredible music that comes out of Louisiana.
Give me a holler at chefjeanpaulbourgeois@gmail.com if you know someone that might be interested in contributing to the show.
Thank you everyone

Back rest for my Yeti Load out bucket
Posted by ChefJP on 8/17/21 at 9:07 pm
I know there are some resourceful Louisianaians on TD and I am hoping I can get some advice from a fellow duck hunter. I'll be using my Yeti Load Out Bucket as my bidon this year. Im cool with sitting on a bucket while I hunt but a back rest could be a nice addition. Anyone have a brand of seat or creative way to rig up a back rest for a Yeti Loadout bucket?
Any insights would be greatly appreciated
