Very cool story. Poster says he worked at Ellington. That’s right where I grew up. Astronauts training in T-38s would fly right over my house.

It just the “all about me” generation/culture.

And would be a little anticlimactic if he just says he’s staying at Texas, so I fully expect a flip to LSU.

The bigger picture is that there was a time not too long ago that I’d actually give a crap about his decision. I truly and honestly could care less anymore as it’s all a revolving door anyway.

Chant had nothing to do with money. Everything to do with aggy losing and blaming their mean bad big brother.

But for all intents and purposes A&M has as much money as Texas, big donors, links to oil money, etc. They were actually the first public university in Texas and UT came a few years later.

You're probably right about the concrete base, it was built in 1975 and similar era as the Astrodome, which had a concrete base and per NFL players felt like it when tackled. :cheers:

Congrats to OU on making it to the finals! I’m actually happy to see Texas and OU doing so well in the conference that, prior to us joining, all the “experts” were saying would kill us and we wouldn’t be able to compete.

I'm tired of getting kicking in the nuts by Georgia but why are they an "unlikeable team"?

I don't like the Oregons, USCs, UCLAs of the world. But that has more to do with how I feel about California in general.
