The woman who owns the farm is a Mainlander who has been there 40 years. How does that happen??

My astrological twin, born 1.5 hours after me in my same hometown, has been on Maui for two years and knows two guys from Louisiana. These two guys’ first names are my first and middle name.

They’ve caretaken on a special off-the-grid farm for a decade and returning home to LA. This JD is going to take that J&D’s place and move from LA to Maui.

My housing is free, I’ll be able to work remotely and also do some odd jobs for neighbors. I’m selling my car and buy their truck. And they come to from my twin.

I’ve lurked here since before some of you were born maybe. Went to LSU 2003-07 and found TD my freshman year; my years at LSU were glory years. I taught in BR two years after graduating and witnessed two national championships in football; five straight women’s final fours (so disappointing once we got there); one men’s FF and so much other greatness.

I finally got a username and am introducing myself old school style. I’ve seen this place change so much. And I could care less. Be yourselves. This place is great.

I probably don’t vote like a lot of you. And again couldn’t give two shits. There’s no Red v Blue teams in this country. It’s Divide and Conquer - it’s the Govt (and those with enough money and power to influence) v the rest of us. We are the People and this place has entertained, informed and inspired me throughout half my life.

I’m better than most of you even if I’m not Ot baller yet. Some of you know me; I’ve been told I know Draconian Sanctions at least. But I promise the people I’ve tailgated with in college help make this place great.
