Someone told me that if you haven't been late on your mortgage payments in a year or two, sometimes they will take the PMI off even if you haven't met the 20%. Has anyone ever heard of this before?

Mortgage Interest Rates

We will be completing our new construction soon and are looking into locking the rates. Does anyone have any idea if we should go ahead and lock today or hold off to see if they drop a little in the next few weeks?

I would say it is based on what time they wake. My kids have to wake up at 6am during the week so they go to bed bed at 7:30 (4 year old) and 8 (5 year old)

We have several acres of land that we were hoping to build on soon. I have contacted a couple of builders and getting some crazy high price per square foot prices. On average it has been about 160-180 per square foot. I know before the pandemic prices were much lower. Are we expecting these to go down any or are we just shite out of luck?
