You're welcome! Our fans have a bad reputation?

The following is from someone who claims that their friend saw this happen. I have also heard a former Tennessee player say the same thing.

When Kiffin came in he was encouraged by the AD to keep Chavis. Kiffin scheduled a meeting with Chavis to offer him the job and to discuss the defensive coaching staff that would have to include Ed Ogeron. Chavis arrived at the meeting ready to accept the job and was told Kiffin would be with him shortly. Several people went in and out the door including the AD. Chavis waited for almost an hour and then was told by the AD that they had just hired Kiffin’s dad.

IF THAT IS TRUE...then I hope that Chavis teaches young Kiffin a lesson on November 8th! Chavis is the MAN! And his defense will be THE MEN on the field!
Anyone with serious issues about chants regarding felletio needs to deal with that issue somewhere other than a sports rant page. Students will be students. Parents (and the administration) need to quit helicoptering them and let them go through the awkward (but sometimes fun) stages of growing up. It doesn't take thousands of posts to know that.

Students are going to be students. I don't see the harm with the chants. The student section brings passion to the game that is often lacking in other areas of the stadium. Let them have fun. It is bothering no one except the television people who already slow the game down too much (hate the red hat man, really), cause people to leave early and/or not attend (no one in my family though). Do we really just expect the students to sit there politely while we wait for the red hat man to get off the field? I don't. Let them have fun!!!
I was there until the end with my family, and I was happy, happy, happy! :nana:
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this team and our coaches!!!!
It was complete THUG-ery! :spank:
TM7..thanks for the memories, only I wish there were more to come. I pray that you get your act together, and that you make the Tiger Nation proud of you in the future.

Love the website. Always have. Scott is doing a geat job keeping it going and this Tiger fan is deeply appreciative.
Loving those Tigers! :nana:
Vilma is always a Who Dat in my book....I love watching him play, and I hope to see him play again soon. This whole bountygate thing is ridiculous.
He will be missed. He loved LSU, and it showed, and we loved him for it. Rest in Peace Dandy Don.
