So it’s kick Mizzou, Arkansas and A&M out now or never? Ok I vote now.

i'd feel the same if i were LSU. They're about to be swallowed hy this huge maroon wave breaking overhead.

It may already be too late. best chance is that something gets cooked up between Big 10 and Texas A&M.

at A&M at Carolina at Oklahoma at Tennessee at Missouri 5 road games in 2026 - maybe next season - 9 game league slate is pathetic - just play 8 or 10 - home games are Alabama LSU Vanderbilt & Florida -

as my Asian friends, Ho Lee Fuk and Sum Ting Wong, noted- thats nuts!

oh, and re wealth, A&M has it in athletics (which is NOT supported by the PUF) because of three main factors:

1) large alumni base due to last 40 years

2) very productive graduates excelling in engineering and business, among others, with a great top-rated reputation among business recruiters (A&M is #1 in # of CEOs

and

3) incredible school loyalty. being an Aggie, to an Aggie, is more than just a school or team identitiy. Most Aggies do actually believe that it means something special, as a person, to be an Aggie. Others will laugh and poke fun, but that is part of the deal.

a cult? in a sense, yes.

i guess like the moonies and the scientologists, we love handing over our money to the thing.

The "Poor Aggieeeees" is an expression of sympathy and pity.

no sympathy or pity. Seriously, it was , is, and always has been nothing but a taunt after winning, showing the true colors of the differences between A&M's culture and Texas'.

A&M did not believe in that kind of stuff, but Texas relishes it.

Unfortunately, with the exponential growth of A&M, it wasnt able to
hold on completely to its legacy. It's still a place that values things like good spirtsmanship, and you're by and large never going to be taunted before, during, and especially AFTER a game.

Texas can have the "poor aggies" chant. i like it because it really does point out a difference in the schools' makeup.

You sound like the kind of person i'd like to tell exactly where to go.

Surprised LSU and Texas A&M have played that much honestly.

it's actually quite a long and interesting, competitive series dating back 100 years. a good cross-border rivalry that's only going to get stronger.

played 60 times dating back to 1899.
the irony is that West Texas has probably the friendliest, most salt-of-the-earth people you will find anywhere.

There's a reason that Aggies know more about what's going on with Longhorn sports than Horn fans do.

Mainly because foreign students just arent that interested in their school's sports teams.
If they're including Texas, the list is being prepared by a gay chinese Hindu.
Notre Dame 2025 on their home field was pretty sweet.....
and i do believe tech was acting trashy at times, but let's also acknowledge that the story doesn't START with one team dropping F bombs and getting enraged.

Do you think Florida was acting all classy and that upset the Raiders?

quote:

This false narrative is so tiresome and lazy. She leaned into the pitches and was grazed. She's a good hitter and we were trying to go inside. She was hit a lot when she was at Florida too, it's part of her strategy to get on base when the ball is thrown inside.

Uh, not exactly. She was hit 5 times all year, and then Florida nails her 5 times.

She is one of the top hitters in the country and you think she is looking to WALK????

If you saw her post- game interview, she talked about hiw they finally quit trying to hit her... " I was like, ' okay, i guess im going to get a chance to hit the ball now...."

which she did. out of the park.

but in fairness, yeah, Flirida was trying to pitch her inside. she did NOT lean into the pitches any more than any batter looking to hit. If Florida wanted to walk her, just pitch it iutside, or high, or low....

Adding Texas schools was a mistake

if you had stopped at A&M, you'd have been fine.
yeah, and i'm getting tired of everyone spelling Mike's name "Elcheaux"

My take, Georgia very deserving of its top position; Auburn is a warrior better than its 6th place finish. Texas, eh. A&M, gifted a great home schedule, but it is actually better on the road.
