re: Why do cops leave their cars running?
Posted by sayitisntso on 8/8/24 at 4:38 pm to achenator
Former leo…. Used to leave it running for reason stated above. Needed to make sure I could respond as quickly as possible at any given moment. Keeping equipment cool was second to that. Since technically I was paying for my own gas as a taxpayer as well I took that seriously and didn’t leave it on unnecessarily on duty. Off duty I removed everything until I went back on shift again. No designated lunch breaks either. Eat when you can and some days you didn’t. I also went the extra mile and waxed my car once a week and kept it looking as it should because of the fact that it was paid for by the public.

Maxwell Yearick connection to Crooks and possibly real shooter on roof.
Coincidence or not
On X…bullet 30 seconds before gunfire heard.

True story. The point isn’t lost on me. But…IF something major did go down surrounding this and other events…the perfect time to release would be right before the election. Obviously we don’t have to wait long to find out.

Yeah the live reporting of shooting from the trees is pretty hard to deny. Agree sniper would not shoot through glass as well. It’s plausible, simply because of human nature that can be corrupted, that top people in both branches of government are involved in probably multiple plots. Guess that also brings up this post and this lady claiming that Harris’ VP is also very corrupt and was in on the attempt somehow.

Hadassay Feinberg Indictment against Shapiro
She has several videos on her channel and from what I can tell PA gave her the shaft as well as the FBI unjustly.

Help me understand how the footage, photos, etc would be possible within this video if posted months before it happened?

I think facts right away that would help would be:
1. Did Crooks have gunshot residue on his hands and clothing?
2. Was the magazine full in his rifle?
3. Were there five shell casings found nearby on the roof?
4. Why did SS sniper team react before audible shots were fired?
5. Were all personnel accounted for in the AGR building?
6. If there were officers in the AGR building at the time did anyone hear the rifle shots from the lower floor and investigate? Maybe the building was big enough to not hear from the front.
7. Were all rounds that hit something consistent with one gun firing them or were there different types?
8. Was the lower window in fact shot out?
Thought the angle photo provided was pretty solid.

Was sent this video today and watched it. Appears there’s truth to it from really paying attention to the whole interview which is about an hour long. Around 30 minute mark gets really interesting. Just surfaced yesterday I believe.
Watched the senate hearings as well over the last few days and makes sense why certain things are withheld and why access to the counter snipers has not been granted. Being in prior law enforcement interviews were avoided at all costs especially if you knew more than what people assumed you knew.

Somehow, someway, inflation is responsible for it.

Glad to see that persecution will be allowed to the fullest extent. Feel that a true lack of persecution exists today but it's alive and well in Bossier thankfully. Guess being prosecuted went right out the window.

I absolutely see the big picture. BRPD arrested the drug dealer, no? That's what I care about.
I don't care how or when or where the druggie overdosed, which is what this thread and the news stories are about. Dude drove to a place he shouldn't have been, bought drugs, took the drugs, and died. BRPD should go after the drug dealer....wait, they did.
I'll give you grace because you don't know the whole story because you weren't close to Shawn. He was not an addict, he was driven there and not his choice, and he was going through a lot including the death of his sister two weeks prior. Taking the drugs was his choice. No disputing that. Different people have different demons that respond in different ways depending on the circumstances no matter how long they have been repressed or you try to fight them.
BRPD ignored the case and EBRSO made the arrest. If you read the articles it's plain to see that and not sure how you missed it. Regardless, his death is a win in the sense that countless others will now potentially live because the dealer's operation was disrupted.
Appreciate a response after you take the time to read, and understand, all three articles.

Yeah. And did the coroner’s autopsy say how long he had been dead before being found?
So either the guy had been dead for weeks and no one noticed him where they were looking… or he was dead and they didn’t move the body there until afterwards and pretended like he just died that weekend.
The consensus is that his body was in the Ford St. house the whole time. I can tell you for a fact that I checked the exact spot he was found multiple times the day we searched and so did BRPD. He was not there. Being a former cop as I said, I know how to search for a person and add to it a friend at that so I was extremely thorough.
Drugs were being sold there and also at the dealer's house that was doubling as a church a couple streets over which was in one of the articles.

Hey all...it's been awhile but wanted to post an update. I never did follow up to say his body was found about a month later in the exact same spot myself, friends, family and law enforcement had already looked. Yes, something smelled of the whole process and being a former cop myself I'd seen it all many times before. Anyway, if you want the full story which made Advocate front page today see below.

I have 50/50 joint physical and legal with my ex and pay no child support. She also makes about $17K a year more than me. We split insurance, tuition and any medical bills 50/50 too. Have you asked her about coming to an agreement where you're not paying support?
I pay fully for insurance and like I said 77/23 roughly for any medical expenses or certain other needs but we usually just pay 100% ourselves as long as her 100% isn’t that much.
And no, haven’t even discussed it yet. Really like how things are flowing but honestly I want to be able to provide more for him and feel this is hindering me. I’m a great father and want to be able to buy a house again one day instead of continuing to rent due to the support payments. I have no debt other than my car note but still it will take years to be able to buy again from where I see it.

Not following. When we divorced she was making less than me but now she either makes the same as me or even more than me. Bills are around 77/23 I believe, I’ve never missed a payment, and I don’t overpay.

Waiting til she files taxes for this year and she doesn’t get paid in cash. She’s a decent mother and got a new job that let her work at home as a consultant making really good money. Obviously I want to discuss with her first and take the right approach but we get along really well so hoping it won’t be a problem IF it’s even worth pursuing.
Child support question
Posted by sayitisntso on 2/4/22 at 9:04 pm
If my ex wife (remarried) now makes the same as me or more (on her own) as I’ve heard from my son we share 50/50 together…is it reasonable to ask for a reduction or to stop paying altogether? I’m only supposed to pay 80% of anything related to him but I just pay 100% instead because I love him and don’t even want to fool with getting reimbursed from my ex wife or vice versa when she pays for some things completely. Just easier that way after 4 years and of course I know I need to go through an attorney which I could use a recommendation on as well that I can vet for potential hiring.

Not likely as the missing persons NCIC report would have flagged him when brought in.
