Had one of my cats bring home a baby fledgling, a brown thrasher. My cats like to play with their capture foes, but they eventually die. I try to save all of them if they are alive when they bring it home (assuming I'm around). So I rescued the little bird and spent almost 2 weeks rehabbing it and watching it grow. I had a cage I would keep it in when I wasn't there and at night but I would let it out during the day while I was outside and that little dude would follow me everywhere. It was quite funny to see and pretty awesome as well. Even my cats was pretty friendly to it and just follow it around and watch it.

Then one day I noticed it was sneezing a bit and sure enough the next day it was dead in the bottom of the cage. And it was so close to being able to fly and live on its own. I never knew that I could get so attached to a bird but it really bummed me out when it died. :wah:

This is Biden's America and it sounds like white privilege since you got to ask.
