He was drafted coming out of HS in the 17th round by the New York Mets. He’s more polished and his control has improved since then. Only thing that might hurt him was his surgery. But I personally think he’ll go higher than he was previously drafted in 2017. That’s just my opinion though.

I’ve seen Aj Labas pitch himself out of bases loaded and no outs. He works best under pressure. He should have been given the chance. He should have never been pulled, especially for Fontenot. If you insist on pulling him, put in a pitcher like Edwards that has same pitching style. I trusted Aj in that situation way more then Devin.

It’s so nice having Labas as a Sunday starter. He’s like having a Friday/Saturday guy go against other teams Sunday guys! He’s going to be very beneficial to us! Nice job #26!
We’re gonna need Hill, Marceaux, and Labas to pitch all 9 innings once SEC play starts, because the thought of having to turn a close game over to the bullpen frightens me. ??
