I graduated 2000 and live nearby. Looking forward to taking the family to their first LSU game. They have seen almost every game with me on TV since moving up here in 2016.
This area is beautiful. If you have time, do a bourbon tour or two. Buffalo Trace is best. Woodford and Maker's are solid as well and give you a good feel of the Bluegrass.
Football doesn't have nearly as many fans as basketball here, obviously, but I have some diehard football fans who still remember their last loss at home to LSU. They love that we call it the Bluegrass Miracle
