What the vets are telling you was true in my case. Your story is virtually identical to what we went through. Backyard, age, and options. We chose the lateral Suture procedure and it worked well, but within a year of recovery, his other leg went. Fixed that one too, but he was never the same playful...

Hope you got the 303’s. I bought mine new in I think 1988 and have loved it ever since. Have several other shotguns including 3 Citori’s that collect dust in the safe while I use the A-303 for everything. Rabbit, pheasant, quail, Skeet and Sporting Clays. Maybe it’s just that perfect fit for me, but...
