Haha, seriously. Dollar General is another good one to short after the IPO.
LINK
Although I will say that these dollar stores have killed it so far during this recession, which probably wouldn't surprise most, but the debt/KKR issues shouldn't be overlooked.

Sure thing. I'll be in town for the Florida game.

Depends on what you consider bad and what kind of time-frame you're referring to. Even the strongest of stocks' charts will turn negative when it's time for a slight 4-5 day pullback or something. So in the short-term, stocks are always going from good to bad to good and so on. But in the long-term, most of your blue chip stocks that haven't experienced any serious fundamental flaws have had extremely bullish charts since the market's latest uptrend began back in March.

Fundamental analysis is up to you, but the chart looks pretty good.
And MVIS is looking good. Healthy stocks stair-step along. I think it's got some more consolidation left before the next run. That run a couple weeks ago was some exciting though.

re: Are you supposed to call professors "professor" even after
Posted by threesheets on 8/21/09 at 12:31 am to Cold Cous Cous
If he was a former professor and you aren't sure if he has a doctorate or not, I would absolutely call him professor. It's a sign of respect.
If you know he has the doctorate, call him doctor hands down. While using the term professor wouldn't be a crime, it is true that not all professors are doctors so the ones that have achieved that status should be addressed accordingly.
The one I have trouble with is how to address deans. While I feel like a professor w/ a doctorate would prefer to be addressed as Dr. So-And-So, I feel like a dean with a doctorate would prefer to be addressed as Dean So-And-So as opposed to using the Dr. prefix. It seems to me that attaining the status of dean is even more respectable than having a doctoral degree and they should thus be address accordingly.

re: Best online broker for penny stocks and pink sheets?

The manipulation is what makes them so damn profitable. I agree that it's terrible as most new investors do get burned, but they don't call it the Wild West for nothing and for those who learn the tricks of the trade investing in pennies can be quite lucrative. TA is king in penny land and anyone who ain't using it ain't gonna make it.

Looking like a breakout! Good call Zilla.

You're right man. Takes hours and hours of practice to be able to make calls like that.

Thanks for all that Zilla. You have a critical couple days tomorrow and Friday. There's most likely only enough room for two more candles in the bullish ascending triangle, meaning it's most likely going to break out to either the up or downside very soon. All of your momentum indicators are saying that breakout will be to the upside. Could happen tomorrow ... I'll be staying tuned.

No, I'd certainly be long, just want the best possible entry.

I'm buying in this one if it breaks resistance or at the next bounce off support. Got yourself a winner here I say. Thanks for the tip.

Oh I gotcha. When you said this earlier:
I thought you meant your trading screen doesn't ever show AH at all. But now it makes sense b/c MarketWatch, too, shows no AH trading for Microvision. Misunderstanding my mistake. If for some reason your screen doesn't work one day, there's MarketWatch for ya
