re: Dispensationalism

God moves through people to bring about His promises and purposes. The Jews have been brought back into the land that God promised them. God has gathered them back in unbelief. God is putting the pieces in place for the coming tribulation. Before there was a Schofield, the Lord God said this:
??Isaiah? ?66?:?7?-?8? ?KJV??
“Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.”
and this
Deuteronomy 4:27-31
27 And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you.
28 And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.
29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
31 (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.
and Jesus said this
??Matthew? ?23?:?37?-?39? ?KJV??
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.”
* Israel had to become a nation in one day (Isa. 66:5-9).
* Israel will not be destroyed again (Amos 9:15).
* Israel must complete the 7-year Tribulation Period before the Jews accept Jesus as their Messiah (Dan. 9:24-27).
* The 7-year Tribulation Period will begin when the Antichrist confirms a covenant with many (Dan. 9:27).
* God will make Jerusalem become a problem for the world (Zech. 12:2-3). God will destroy every nation that attacks it (Zech. 12:6-9; 14:12).
* God will pour out His Spirit on Israel at the end and the Jews will accept Jesus as their Messiah (Jer. 23:5-8; Ezek. 36:24-28; Zech 12:10-14), Jesus will return, and all Israel will be saved (Rom. 11:26).

re: Springsteen? Do you still like him?

You’re right about selling all of those albums. Although, I think most people bought those for Born in the USA and the song he sings about himself and the 17 y/o gal on a July Saturday night. I could be mistaken but I believe he was singing about a gal. Either way, I’m glad you liked him bruce duke.
