Shake the hand of an Alabama fan. Congratulate them for supporting a team that is and always has been better than your team.
I will congratulate fans after their team beats my team as a sign of respect for their team. But nobody deserves congratulations for simply supporting a t...
Great. You're joining the SEC and are about to become Crimson Nebraska.
If you are counting on that you will be very disappointed. We aren’t destroying our recruiting pipelines like NU did with their move to the Big 10. All of that talent in the DFW area is still just an hour...

Add 7 for OU next year. ...
You are free to believe whatever you want, but this forum of fans would know better than to agree... if money was on the line. You'd be middle-upper tier, no doubt. But year in and year out, and over time (like all the rest of us have trudged through), you would be about like Auburn/UT, and m...

Next time this happens the coaches will blatantly lie about the severity of the injury. I would do it even if it were obvious just to make a point. Given now that we are expanding to 12 it won’t be as critical....
Frankly, it's the same type of attitude that prevented Alabama from claiming its rightful 3-Peat in '66.
Was that before or after you won a title, lost the bowl game, and the wire service changed their procedure to make sure it doesn’t happen again? And was it before or after y...
Also, for those who say 32 teams, that is five games. That is extending the season by almost 50%. That is not doable for many reasons. Risk of injury is the biggest. It works for FCS because only a few of those guys are looking at an NFL career and presumably the lower competitions means less ...
I think they are already going to have a problem with veteran players who are looking at an NFL career choosing to play four additional games. We are going to see more and more top line players sit out and it would only get worse the larger the field is. I do not like the idea of 12 teams. I mu...
UGA will be full of excuses when they lose #1 excuse - refs
No, this is the SEC. Their #1 excuse is they didn't want to be there. At least that is what Bama, Auburn, and Florida told us. That said I don't see any way FSU wins against Georgia....
USC would have boat raced that Auburn team. Also, FSU has a bigger argument. There were 3 undefeated P5 teams in 2004 and two available spots. There are 3 undefeated P5 teams and four available spots this year....
Ole Miss has two top 10 losses. Where is KU ranked?
That KU game was an anomaly. It was a 38 degree driving rain and Lebby completely went into a shell. We also had bad turnovers some caused directly by the conditions. I am not excusing that loss. We lost because we deserved ...
Who has a leg to stand on feeling they got left out? Undefeated P5 conference champs are in. Michigan and FSU get 2 spots. There are 3 1 loss P5 conferences champions with 2 spots available. Washington beat the only team to beat them Texas beat Bama Bama to 5 with the field of 4 clean and cle...
Because we are Southern Gentlemen and there is a code of honour that we share. We root for our SEC brethren unless that fellow Sec team winning directly and adversely impacts short term goals for our favourite SEC programme.
What that really means is my team is mediocre and has ...
Frick you, this is a bad deal for the conference and the fans, which built this conference. I could care less about playing texas and ou, except in the playoffs
Well had you not poached two of our mid-tier teams this probably wouldn’t have happened. From OU’s perspective the Bi...
I wish my kids gave a f*ck about football like that. At most I would get is a shrug.
I do too. My son is non-verbal and doesn't understand football. That said, the key is to find what they like and be passionate about it for them....
Looky here yall. We have ourselves a Billy Badass. Although I agree with you on Atlanta being a shithole, I doubt very seriously you walked around kicking some arse. I bet you look like Pawl Finebawm, but fatter.
When he said he kicked some arse, he really means Saban. In his mind...
Let's start with where it began: Fort Sumter, which was used by the U.S. as a tariff collection port. It's not a coincidence this was the location for the first battle of the Civil War.
Starting with Fort Sumter is a very misleading place to start because it ignores the causes of s...
