Next time this happens the coaches will blatantly lie about the severity of the injury. I would do it even if it were obvious just to make a point.

Also, for those who say 32 teams, that is five games. That is extending the season by almost 50%. That is not doable for many reasons. Risk of injury is the biggest.
It works for FCS because only a few of those guys are looking at an NFL career and presumably the lower competitions means less ...

I think they are already going to have a problem with veteran players who are looking at an NFL career choosing to play four additional games. We are going to see more and more top line players sit out and it would only get worse the larger the field is.

Also, FSU has a bigger argument. There were 3 undefeated P5 teams in 2004 and two available spots. There are 3 undefeated P5 teams and four available spots this year....

That KU game was an anomaly. It was a 38 degree driving rain and Lebby completely went into a shell. We also had bad turnovers some caused directly by the conditions.
