I don’t care what team someone is a fan of, when a top ten matchup in the Cottonbowl is called “meaningless” all the way up to game day, it’s just sad. Not what CFB used to be that’s for sure. I mean if that game is meaningless then what is a game in September against Charleston Southern or Missouri...

There were FIVE plays in the the Okie State game with pre snap whistles where they players carried out the entire play because they couldn’t hear the “whistle”.
They need to stop pretending refs blowing real whistles is gonna kill someone. ...

I wonder if there are any efforts/attempts to redesign the football helmet to integrate the soft outer shell into the helmet itself. Basically soft outer layer, hard shell, soft inner layer....
