I agree 100% now. At the time I did not want to disturb the area so I did not cut it.

I was going to cut it for the turkey season then spray it after. Think that would be okay?

So I planted some crimson, ladino, and durana clover along with some wheat and winter rye back on the first week of October last year. Soil test was done prior to planting and adjusted per LSU recommendations. The wheat and winter rye grew super fast. I think it grew to fast and I may have planted to much seed because its super think too. By the time December rolled around it was knee deep. I was not expecting that. I tried looking for clover in the grass but did not see as much as I was hoping for.
Am I being to impatient? This is my first attempt on clover plot but I think I may of failed. I will be cutting the wheat and winter rye this week in hopes that the clover will take off.
How is your clover plots looking right now?

I’ve been having a lifetime hunting license for about 15 years. Do you know if that covers the public land and WMA permits?
Yes it covers them just need your tags.

If you search the web some people say the red collar Rage crossbow broad heads don't allow the blades to open. I purchased the compound bow black collar rage for my two sons crossbows and they work great. They do not open up in flight and do open at impact. My crossbows shot around 350fps for refrence. Got my rage from Dicks on line dirt cheap and remember there is a $15.00 rebate from rage right now,it expires Oct 31st.
Anyone planting this weekend?

Thinking about planting my fall plot of clover, wheat, and oats but I am on the fence about not being as cool as I would like in Washington Parish. Looks like we will have a week of scattered rain so that’s a good thing.
