Mt P is one of the most pretentious towns in SC. It lost most of its charm when they built the span bridge. In addition, all the yuppie hipsters think the women’s tennis stadium is fricking wimbledon. Tell your little rainbow haired hussies that they’ll never be Hilton Head regardless of how many round-a-bouts y’all instal.
Ain't that the truth! I've never seen so many people in denial about what goes on around them.

Wait what? So you are a female with these stickers and now a note affixed with packing tape to your vehicle?
And I live in Mt Plastic

If so, she aint a Mt P chick.
Most Mt P women weigh about 90 pounds. Kind of hard to keep up their lifestyle here and be able to eat.

My nails look pretty good for my age. Besides, just 'cause I live in Mt P doesn't mean I have that kind of money.

Funny, I never had stickers or decals on my vehicle until I moved to Mt P. I think the first one I got was the co exist. I was stuck in the drive thru of a Starbucks one day and could see the woman behind me struggling to make out what it was. She got out of her car, came to my window with a big smile on her face and asked about it. I wish I had a picture of the look on her face when I told her. Deer in headlights. It was priceless.

I have a handful of car decals on the back window of my suv. Apparently a female millennial assumed I'm male and left this note for me.
"Your bumper stickers are giving off racist lame arse small dick energy. peace & heart, frick your guns (heart) learn to fight (heart)"
decals are guns and coffee, gun version of co-exist, yankee go home, Louisiana Strong and RCA - Coonass Nation.
So, I guess these stickers are all racist???
I took her note, slapped it on the back window and sealed it with packing tape

Thanks... I was just about to post that article.
He hasn't officially been identified by his family or the sheriff, as far as I know. Supposedly, his name got out before his family was notified. :-(

Hey y'all, it's looking like the hiker has been identified! It hasn't been confirmed yet, but from what I understand, some of his friends recognized him from a "friend of a friends post" somewhere.

David Mittelman with Othram has just completed a very brief live broadcast on the FB group for this hiker. They have learned from the hiker's DNA that he does have CAJUN ancestry. They believe he does have relatives in Louisiana. If any of you are willing to take an ancestry test, or have already done so, you can go to Gedmatch.com or DNAsolves, upload the results and select 'Opt-in'.
Also, there was a post in the group from a guy who claims he recognized him in one of the photos as a customer who was looking to purchase a VW Jetta. He drove from NJ to CT to take a look at one, but didn't purchase because he wanted diesel. But the guy claims the hikers name was Chris. And supposedly he remembered his middle initial being an H and his last name beginning with a P. The guy has contacted the Collier Sheriffs Dept and has provided them with this info.

It seems to me that "they" may be getting closer to getting him identified. The reference to Louisiana gives me the feeling that he does have connections, but it hasn't been officially confirmed. Surely, someone has to know him. Here is an article published in Wired.

Othram Labs has his dna and just announced today that testing is 100% complete! They have now moved into genealogy research and are working on a tree. If you have ever had you dna/genealogy with Ancestry or the other sites, you can upload it to DNAsolves or GEDMATCH.
Hope you all in the path of Delta are safe!

I just listened to one dated July 2020. He REALLY did not want to be identified.
I read last night that he told another hiker that his father was abusive and because of the abuse he severed all ties with his parents. He also said that he didn't want to be buried with his parents. I don't know if that is to be interpreted that his parents were already deceased when he began hiking.
I have to agree with another poster on here. He may have lied about EVERYTHING.
The following pictures were altered by a user on reddit. This is what he might have looked like without facial hair. Keep in mind that his eyes are blue. They appear very dark in some photos.

My timing is never great. Whole lifetime of a day late and dollar short.
It's my understanding that the composite sketch was done based on what he looked like at the time of his death. A whole 83 pounds.
I'm sure BRPD has already gotten info on him. But, if no has reported him missing, there's not much they can do. The Collier Co sheriffs office has basically stated they just need someone who recognizes him to call and give them his name.
There are doctored pics of him online without a beard. I don't want to hog up the forum too much today. So, tomorrow, I will try to figure out how to actually upload an image instead of just the link.
Anyone here reading this, responding or not.... THANK YOU for checking this out.

I agree. So far it's only been info from hikers who remember meeting him. Wait, one day we'll probably learn that he's actually from Yugoslavia and is some sort of pitchfork serial killer.

I'm not sure about those specific photos, but there were hikers who had blogs that posted about meeting him. There are also pictures of him with people who worked the hostels that he spent time at.
I can't believe he would've stayed somewhere that didn't get a contact number if he dropped dead on them. Or ask for ID.

If boggles my mind.
There is a company in Texas who is working with his DNA. Hopefully, they can come up with something.
It was said that he left his belongings in storage with a friend. An attic, and extra room, basement?
He also didn't have a phone with him. He was found with $3,640.
He had notebooks. His notes were said to look like that of an IT person. Apparently, he played Screeps. I find it hard to imagine that he spent a year or two without access to any electronics.
