We have a Golden Doodle we bought from Hunnington Farms located in Covington, LA. He got diagnosed with acute leukemia this past Saturday. He was born in November 2018. He is only a year and a half. I have learned that most leukemia develops from a mutation in the bone marrow. Stu, our dogs name, is one of the family and we are all devastated. I contacted the breeder and they abruptly said they have never had this happen. They were dismissive and lacked sympathy. They quickly got off the phone with me. It wasn't until I started to cry before we hung up that she said she was sorry. I have since learned of another Golden Doodle who recently died of Leukemia. This dog was under three years of age. This dog was also bought from Hunnington Farms. I am in the process of contacting this dog owner. They are constantly inbreeding their dogs. If you pay attention to the website over time, you will see that this is true. I would caution anyone considering buying a dog from Hunnington Farms. They are overpriced and you can draw your own conclusion about what else they are. We are heartbroken!
