re: question from a Gator

Look, even the tv announcers made mention of how Thornton wasn't even set on some of the 3s he hit with a hand right in his face. Yes, I know the guy is good, but nobody...not Kobe, not Lebron not anyone, is good enough to hit those shots at a reasonable clip. The guy had a great night, and he deserves credit, but it's a valid point. I said "ridiculous" , not lucky.

To the person that commented on how many "backhanded comments" I made...what in the hell are you talking about?

My last comment...if LSU goes on the road, against a higher ranked opponent and loses by 6, wouldn't LSU fans have a valid point that the two teams are pretty much on par with each other?

for the most part, you guys are really jerks.

Anyone can get on a message board a be a dillhole to someone just because they happen to like another team. How about a little class every once in a while?

Is it really that hard to just agree or disagree or offer an honest opinion without showing your arse like a 4th grader?

I guess now I remember why I stay away from this place.

question from a Gator

OK, after last nights game, the concensus in Gator Nation is that UF is really pretty good, just got beat by a team that's a little better. I actually think UF and LSU are about equal if you consider that Thornton and Mitchell hit some absolutely ridiculous shots, Calathes was subpar and it was still down to the last minute.

Do you guys think UF is NCAA worthy? What do you think their chances are down the stretch?

Good game last night. If Thornton is that good every night, he's pretty special. Too bad you guys aren't on TV much this year.
from a Gator who was there last year...

I personally like the setup at USC. The stadium is near nothing, it's all football and tailgating, that's it. I guess maybe with the fair in town it might be different.

One mistake I made was taking a cab to the game.

DO NOT TAKE A CAB TO THE STADIUM!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, there's nothing wrong with the cabbie we had or anything like that, the problem is with the traffic...it's one way out after the game. The crossroads at the stadium are one way only after the game to get the crowd out of the area as quickly as possible.

My financee and I ended up walking to downtown where the campus is before we could find an IHOP and a phone book to call a cab which never came. We ended up hailing one about 30 min later and eventually making it back to the hotel.

If it wasn't so damn cold or late we would have just hung out for a while and found some Gator fans, but I was sick and we had already spent the night before up way too late in Savannah so we were in no mood to stick around.

Had we known it was going to be an epic journey back to civilization we would have reconsidered, but we had no idea how far it was, and neither did any of the state cops we asked because they were all from other counties.
