I grew up in Goodwater and my 99 year old Mother still lives there on Hwy 9. I know all your pictures well. I broke my ankle riding a motorcycle down the alley you that you show a picture of. I remember when Goodwater was a thriving town. Then Hwy 280 bypassed Goodwater and the town dried up. I graduated from Goodwater High School and played football all of my time there. I don’t know your family, but my Uncle Charlie Buzbee, was County Commissioner through the 60s and into the 70s. Thank you for your pictures and reminding me what a great little place Gooodwater is and a look back at my childhood.
