I’ve been sitting at standstill for over an hour

I feel like these were the jobs most vulnerable to the covid stimulus payments, unemployment benefits, eviction/mortgage suspensions, etc.

You’re absolutely correct. And to your point the base wages for these jobs are rising to where several jobs are operating at a loss due to shipping lines not wanting to pay higher rates but the labor pool is still very thin especially in those skill positions like forklift operators, crane operators, etc. You can find any warm body to hook/unhook cargo but unfortunately it takes more than that to get it from point A to point B.
I work for a non-union port operator that has facilities across the Gulf Coast in Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. Finding decent labor has been very hard to come by. We can barely run 1 day shift working multiple hatches per ship at 5 berth facilities much less 3 shifts. It’s shite work for shite pay so unfortunately it’s tough to recruit.
The caging of Mike has caused, according to your post history, a terrible defense in football and now inconsistency in baseball. Bravo on the creativity.
Setting Mike free may actually be simpler than fixing the defense you say is the product of our bad karma.

Count me in as well...
