re: Is Take 5 Oil Change any good?
Posted by eaglestuff on 1/9/20 at 6:29 pm to GetCocky11
The first problem is that their prices significantly exceed the advertised price. I should have left when I saw that! Secondly problem is that the technician spilled oil on my engine so it still smells like burnt oil when I drive anywhere. Finally, the day after my oil change (they also "topped off" the air in the tires) I had a flat tire. I figured at first that I must have run over a nail but the tire shop said that the tire valve stem was quite loose and other than that nothing else was wrong. Of course, this *could* be a coincidence, but the tire shop seemed surprised that it had not previously leaked air so either through improper handling or something worse my sense is that they loosened the valve stem. If I had an option to give zero stars I would have chosen that, but I had to click at least one.
