That was my daughter. She and a friend were crossing into old crossgates on Military at Crossgates blvd from New Crossgates. The side they crossed on had a red light and the signal from the other way had a green light. She had a bad concussion and bruised lung with lots of scrapes and bruises but shes bouncing back fast. It was just an accident. Her friend crossed ahead of her by mere feet and made it so i'm a little confused as to how my daughter got hit but... she did. She's okay. Just in a lot of pain. She's almost 14 years old. Scariest halloween ever for us hands down. I cant tell you the things that were going through my head on our way to the scene. We were 3 blocks away at home giving out candy. She was never supposed to cross military. We've told her that dozens of times but you know how 13 year olds are. Thanks for the concern we appreciate it.
