The LDOE just released its COVID guidance for the 2022/2023 school year.
It’s been over 2 years and they are still pushing the same failed mitigation measures!!! Contact tracing, close contact quarantine, masks and more testing.

Sadly the majority of private schools are not any better. They follow LDH guidance like the Bible and also receive some federal funding.

I think the senators emails are blowing up. They know parents are pissed. I think it will get to the senate floor for a vote. Question is how many cowards will abstain from voting for fear of JBEs wrath.
JBE already threatened to remove funding from Rep Bagley’s district if he didn’t back off. Thankfully Bagley has a backbone and stood firm. Next week will be interesting.

I have already written some of you separately. As the marine testified at Wednesday’s hearing, the fight for freedom is here. My father a proud Vietnam veteran had similar sentiments before he passed away on Christmas Eve. He expressed disappointment for the direction this state and our country is headed.
Our freedoms are being eroded from within and it is insulting to our veterans who sacrificed everything to protect them.
Parental rights have been violated for the past 2 years. It is past time to restore our God given and constitutional rights for informed consent and the right to refuse medical interventions for our children.
Last year’s school policies which followed LDH guidance were highly discriminatory for unvaccinated children, my young son included. Exemptions will allow for the same discrimination to continue.
Any parent that wants their child to receive the COVID-19 vaccine has every opportunity to do so. Mandating these shots is not appropriate and will do more harm than good.
Please allow HCR3 to be heard on the senate floor.

Since it failed to pass in the Senate Health and Welfare committee, a Senator would have to request it to be heard on the Senate floor.
