re: Fans need to express themselves with cheers and boos

Believe me, I too am pissed off at the way we are winning (and losing for that matter). I am not the biggest Les Miles fan. I don't like the way he goes about doing things. But you can bet your @ss that I'll take Les Miles over any of the idiots booing in the stands.
I've never been to a game and agreed with the "expert" fans sitting around me, so I can't imagine (or respect) a coach that would make decisions based on fan reaction. The way you please fans is by producing wins...period.
JJ's numbers won't change much. My money is on the running game. Don't buy into the "throw the long ball" hype.
I'd take Barkley kid from USC all day long in the SEC.

So then we should make the offensive gameplan even more confusing for him?

Regardless, I think the offense will get back to the basics and simplify it for JJ. That means running the ball with play-action off of that. It's up to the team to man-up and make it work, because that is what is going to happen...book it.

It will be after this off week.
Time for bread and butter.

My take is that the team will get back to their bread and butter, which is running the damn ball and mixing in some play-action. Crowton is a very intelligent OC, but I think only in moderation. We have always been a power football team with a touch of flare. That flare has to come at the right time or it's not effective. You also have to have an experienced QB to do it. We've been trying to show too much flare with a guy who just can't do it. It's time for the bread and butter.
Note: I didn't say vanilla. I said bread and butter.

Back to the good ol' days of not being able to stay on the field with Florida and Alabama and the Auburn game making the difference between a good and a bad season. We are officially back on the 2nd tier.

Opposing defenses seem to like him.

Whoever they are, they better rise up these next couple of weeks.
Shepard is a game-changer...hopefully like Tebow.

Meyer didn't shy away from playing Tebow in big games when he was a true freshman. He gave him a few plays to run that highlighted his abilities and gave the defenses something to think about (actually A LOT to think about). I'm not asking for Les to hand the keys over to Russell Shepard, but how about getting this enormous talent involved. He's only separated by one year from Jefferson. JJ may have a better arm, but he's no game-changer.

We can be proud (or not proud) of the way they play AFTER the game. Right now, we should want nothing but victory...and not a freakin' moral victory.
