State lost to both ranked teams we played

We should not be #2.

I’d argue we shouldn’t be top 10. We are good, but not great imo

At least you let us all know that you don't know much about baseball.

Conference play starts Friday.

#19 Tennessee at #6 Georgia
Alabama at #21 Kentucky
South Carolina at #16 Florida
#2 Mississippi State at #5 Arkansas
#5 Auburn at Missouri
#9 LSU at Vanderbilt
#16 Ole Miss at #2 Texas
#17 Texas A&M at #7 Oklahoma

Auburn and LSU got lucky. LSU, as bad as they are, will probably start conference play 2-1 or 3-0.
If he's so great, the team would've done something by now. He shoots a lot, so he scores a lot, especially if he has a rare "on" night. He stinks on defense. He's a pretty good college player, but that's about it. 3rd team seems about right.
Remember when all the LSU fans got mad because I said they should get dropped to 4th? :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

I would drop LSU to 4 and move both Texas and MSU up a spot each. Texas may be #1, but UCLA has a better resume after this weekend. LSU has looked pretty weak lately.

Maybe I was too kind. :dunno:
Bold prediction: LSU will not finish in the top 4......of the SEC.

ETA: Neither will Arkansas.

If them not hitting persists, maybe I'll worry more,

 I didn't say to worry. I said drop them to 4th. FOURTH. In the country. People on here acting like I said they suck. I think the top 4 are all really strong, and I would just arrange them slightly differently. You LSU fans are too sensitive. I suggested they should be 2 spots lower and we got people typing 6 paragraphs of tear-filled diatribes.

LSU gave up a total of 3 runs over the weekend…

Arkansas gave up more runs in a home loss to UTA

Where did I say to put Arkansas above LSU? We're not in this discussion. We're talking about the top 4 teams, so that automatically keeps us out of the discussion.

Back to the point, LSU has struggled against some really weak competition. The hitting hasn't been there. Based on resumes alone SO FAR, I just think UCLA, Texas, and MSU have all done more than LSU.

Long way to go. The talent is there to get LSU to #1 or #2, but right now, the results aren't matching the talent. Probably best for baseball. Those other 3 may be peaking too early, whereas LSU could be saving it up for later. Sorry you're offended that I think you're #4 instead of #2. LOL How will you sleep tonight????

I would fully expect Southern Miss to win that game, if I were you. Prepare yourself.

A. Little Brother syndrome - This is their biggest game of the year unless/until they make it to Omaha.

B. That loss last night, losing the way you did, is going to cost you another L come Tuesday. Just the way it works.

So lame. So sad. (you, not Kiffin or whoever this Yo character is).

Alabama and Tennessee are going to have their hands full today!
Ole Miss judge rules Ole Miss can cheat. Not a shocker for a school that craves relevancy more than anything else in the world.

Congrats?

Nice.

Be sure to keep donating a part of your paycheck to your school's NIL fund.

Shite is a freakin clown show. The entire sport needs a mass forensic audit of every athletic department

Yep. Never given a dollar, never will. As much as I hate sucking at football, I'd rather see the program shut down than see $1 of mine go towards "NIL" salaries. I buy tickets and merch, and I watch on TV. Take that revenue and spend it. I'm not donating to rent 3 star OT from Austin Peay for 1 season.

Furman, GT, and Kennesaw State. Wow, way to go out on a limb Vols! A TRULY spectacular OOC schedule. Sure to move the needle when the playoff committee is deciding which 9-3 teams to put in the playoffs!

re: If Leavitt stays healthy this year

Not impressed with Leavitt. Maybe it's the surrounding cast or the current coach, but he's not a good QB at ASU. And that's with maybe the best WR in the nation at his disposal. He's a pretty good scrambler though...just not that good at throwing the ball.

Golding would have never been in CFP had Lane not built that team. Now you are left with Golding.

If there's one thing Ole Miss is good at, it's rewriting history.

"No, we're not racist"

"We have TWO national championships"

"Hugh Freeze is a man of God"

"Lane Kiffin is a changed man, he's a Christian now"

"We didn't want Lane Kiffin, he's a bad person and Pete Golding is the reason for our success anyway"

"Pete Golding (who cusses profusely during press conferences) is a man of God"
quote:

I am shocked that State is struggling during the NIL era***

I think that anyone who has given even $1 to NIL is an absolute moron.

Do I like it when Arkansas wins? Yes. Is the quality of my life tied to it in any tangible way? Heck no. And anyone's who is needs to reprioritize.

I give plenty away. But it goes to the Tim Tebow foundation, St. Jude's, Salvation Army, Mercy Chefs, the national and international mission boards, my local church, etc. You know, stuff that actually matters because it helps people who are actually in need?
Aww, poor babies don't like a man that is faithful to his wife and raises his children to be good people. sad state of affairs.
