Yeah. Our only losses this season were to the better teams on the schedule.
Elko will get another shot at it next year.
But at least Elko doesn’t get depantsed by Sunbelt Billy on the regular.
I love how you admit in the bolded that Texas is a better team than A&M this year.
You are admitting that the CFP was not the 12 best teams and that Texas should have been in, if that is the goal and the charter of a playoff to crown a best team national champion.

Texas fans: Ackshually, we didn’t make ourselves preseason #1 or say Arch was going to get the Heisman, this season was completely fine
If you had the preseason Hesiman favorite Arch Manning, you might have beat us and you definitely are still playing football in the cfp. But instead you had Marcel Reed :rotflmao:

Obviously lashing out in a "me too" way because LSU is bullying them for their moral victories. It's giving huge loser and little brother energy and is very pathetic. poooooor aggy, indeed.
I'll admit to being a little worried and bought in that they were the real deal and a complete team when they came back from 3-27 or whatever it was and go to 11-0.
Worried because, I'd seen our national championship winning team overcome a near upset and come back from deep deficits (e.g. oklahoma state and kansas) and know that it can happen to the best teams and that sometimes those comebacks build character and confidence to go win it all.
Also worried because once you get into the playoffs at this level (non-G5) and with the talent aggie amassed, it can be an "any given saturday" situation and they could catch fire and win it all. They had a chip and a chair.
Mostly worried because their long-running national nightmare of being dunce aggies and doing slapstick aggie things (like going 11-0 and then blowing the next 2 games to blow the season up) was looking at risk. It would have been a tragedy to lose that comic genius and I know nothing lasts forever.
Knowing that my Longhorns are a big reason the aggies lost is funny to me. We didn't blow up their car but we punctured the tire that later blew out turning the last corner that kept them from finishing the race.
Not only did we keep them from the SECCG but we screwed up their ranking that they had to play the one team without a bye with a pulse who could beat them (outside of Bama).
And the cherry on top is that Aggies were the most vocal about trolling Longhorns about Arch's early season struggles while pretending they had a Heisman at QB for 3/4 of the season. Turns out that they win a CFP game with Arch at QB and lost because their QB wasn't good enough.

The underdog would have been favored on a neutral field, and was picked by many to win.
We lost a 1 possession game, with a chance to tie it late.
Bad marcel is a bottom 5 QB in the conference, and we got him in our two biggest games post ND.
The Aggies made enough defensive plays to win it, and a couple that lost it.
The Aggies made zero offensive plays to win it, and that’s what actually lost it.
I agree with all of this.
Which makes it even funnier that it was the Aggies who were deriding and making fun of Arch at the beginning of the season.
Arch as Aggies QB wins this game by two possessions. Marcel Reed...
One can easily imagine Marcel Reed with that sort of hand eye coordination LOL

I enjoyed watching it, as a fan of both Texas a&m and football.
Your burn is a meme, but only 1 team wins it all each year. We weren’t good enough to do it.
We were good enough to have a shot at it.
Still a fun season.
But the funniest part is that after losing to Texas it was "that's okay, we are going to the playoffs" and then you get a home playoff game and the underdog beats you in a "tale as old as time" sort of 4th quarter blundering way.
Also, it's hilarious that for all the bluster, the only Texas team with a playoff win in the year of 2025 was big brother Longhorns.

Texas Longhorns Christmas Wishlist

1) Marcel Reed return to A&M for another year
2) OU continue to employ your head coach who looks like a door to door roof repair salesman.

Don;t lose to FL and go to OT with State and UK
And even still, our teams won the same amount of playoff games this year. :rotflmao:
Except Texas won two playoff games on the way to a semi-finals that came down to one possession against the champs.
And it was their second season in a row to get to the semi-finals in the playoffs.
Except for those things, yes, sure, it was the same thing.

I disagree. Texas was atrocious at times this year what games did you watch? Miami would have rolled Texas
Aggies win this game by at least 7 points with Arch Manning instead of Marcel Reed.
Aggies win it all with Carson Beck or Gunnar Stockton.
The real question is this:
Did Texas break Aggy?
Or did Texas expose Aggy being fool's gold due to a generationally weak schedule?
Aggies win that game with Arch instead of Reed
Posted by VYForever on 12/20/25 at 2:39 pm
Aggies might win it all with a QB who could walk and chew gum at the same time. They win it all with Beck. Or Stockton. But they beat Miami with Arch. That’s a tough pill to swallow I bet.

This isn’t the flex you think it is because your coach is not HIM as anyone with eyes can see. We love that yall won’t fire him though….

Anytime Arkansas ever wants to talk about their upsetting us in the far off past now, I will only ever have one response for those bottom feeders:

If tweet fails to load, click here.Yes I do. I got him on my fantasy team thinking he’d be good, I think he played for Jacksonville?, but he never was. He was one of those guys who had a flash in a pan ability, needed a hypnotist to make him believe he’s playing Texas every week and he’d have been an NFL HOFer.
Who Here Remembers the Last Time Texas Played MIchigan in a Bowl?

Who here remembers when a certain young man beat Michigan in a rebuild/year-too-early season to end on a high note and put the country on notice that next year we comin'?
(and spoiler alert: we came)
ARCH, STEP UP TO THE PLATE YOUR NEXT!
