I think this is exactly right. E. Illinois is a team that any bad SEC team should beat by 35+, period. Which made me happy, because South Carolina rarely EVER beats teams they should beat by that margin.

My problem with this team is that it is still untested. Our receivers couldn't catch a cold much less a football. All those dropped passes against E. Illinois was gross, to say the least.

But, our Defense looked solid enough, not for a solid SEC game, but it was good enough to keep the team in the game. Our running game looks good too. But the QB play is what is suspect here, no one knows what Doty will do, so Vegas has to be playing this one safe, close to the vest. Spread makes sense to me.

If Texas did secede, do you really think anyone other than NY, Vermont, Connecticut would go against them? The US wouldn't do shite, because noone would rise up against them. In fact, a shite load of other states would join them. Democrats think the military would fight Texas? Never happen. People have had enough of the politicians in DC.

I doubt it. It's Beamer, and we are all going to have to deal with this reality. It sucks, but then, so does Tanner and our BOT. He is the cheap buy, and "wants" to be here.

I think he was a great coach, for his time. The game certainly passed him by though. The Fun and Gun just doesn't work anymore. But what he did at UF was amazing, and what he did at SC was even more amazing, seeing as how bad we have always been. But remember this, at the time he was here, SC has super incredible HS talent in the State, and he was a big name, so it was a no brainer for them to come here. The in-state talent now for HS is nothing compared to back then.

Thats fine, forfeit the whole rest of the season. Aint like are going to beat anyone this year again anyway. Just being realistic. We are ranked #50 in this years upcoming recruiting class, that's really bad. I say go hire Freeze, and get to work on getting kids in the Transfer Portal.
