Sounds like your wife is a spoiled and entitled little girl. Women can sometimes be this way. If she is a stay at home mom and doesn’t work then this is her job when you’re not around. So Long as you’re not a deadbeat when you are around.
Otherwise you’re right and you know it, also she’s wrong and she knows it. She’s only being manipulating. If this is a pattern with her, get the hell outa there asap!!!

Carew Harris looks like a good spot to launch my kayak. Do you thing it would be safe on a weekday during daylight? Maybe do some bank fishing while armed?
