Ya at this point he's been sitting back just reading studies and compare that to what people posting on boards say.this guy has military in his background .he's worked all over middle East n Africa. His point is in certain types of information gathering people are your best resource .a satalight data, drones all that helps but more bad guys are found by listening to people.were not hunting bad guys .but what can it hurt to just listen to what you or a guy in Arkansas or North Carolina have to say sort it a bit and see if any thing jumps out.hurting no one and unlike girl or whatever it's called all options welcomed

No seen that group.ya good points ,a few but not enough to make me a follower .but I do like what nicosdad is doing.ask the men/women who see thing's first hand.try and find out what is that opinion not preach to anybody .just listening .we have a lot of state/fed and conservation groups telling us what to believe .not very many listening .

What I'm doing is helping a guy who wants to gather information from hunters or anybody that has seen waterfowl and may have an opinion what is and why.nobody wants you're spot .you he is on a number of boards his plan is to get a huge map of North America and a smaller map of each state and let people ,us not the government programs provide the information .cross check reports to weed out as much b.s as possible.but u would not believe how much blowback he's getting it's as if anyone who's involved with the state/federal waterfowl study programs is flipping out.it almost seems like we who pays for all the management shouldn't talk to each other in a civil way .right now we have at least 5 people in each state down the central flyway and in some states many more .the fact is if the government don't want you to ask questions you better ask questions.help if you want if not thanks eather way

re: Duckhunting

This is the link as soon as read this it's like wait a minute did I miss something you can tell it's heavy on edit.I was able to talk to one of field study professors he told me this and allmost every study is likely edited to show the refuge/conservation systems are working and in fact needed.the fact is ..it's a lie and had altered the migration in a bad way .see the migration is the problem no problem no study no study no money .seems like the more waterfowl is managed the worse it gets .if you look at his way the migration is not happening as it should and if it was left alone let natural movements occur we would see many more birds in lousiana.he did say due to ag practices we will never see what we once did . me trying to keep an open mind

Thanks I found out a study was made using satalight GPS tracking .one of the field management team has contacted me what was found was birds were hopping from refuge to to pravite conservation areas back to refuge.but parts were left out of public copy that show the this has effectively altered the migration pattern. I have a full copy on way

Grand boy in my lap bumped me.I was saying cold weather is of no consequence water is kept open and unending food .we may be seeing the end of the migration for us for good

re: Duckhunting

Posted by Just tired on 1/26/20 at 11:26 pm to
From almost all of the information I've received.a duck has very little reason to leave Illinois.between crop waste and flooding corn ,conservation refuges that the number keeps growing on because some are private yet funded with federal money so not listed .I see why the migration has changed.cold weather is of nocon

re: Duckhunting

Yep 100% right.that's why I don't want any more stats or du propaganda.I want the boots or waders on the ground so to speak information .I don't think most people have any idea how much knowledge we have as a group.but we have to stop with b.s and put our heads together

Thank you for helping.I have a 10×5 map on the way.of North of America .I'm trying to put together as much information as I can .what I'll do with it remains to be seen .I hope maybe to find a way to help .we have a problem .not saying I'm smart enough to figure it out.but if I do the grunt work maybe I can find somebody who's not tied to any government or so called conservation groups.who will point me in the right direction.may be all a waste of time .
